April 1, 2005 - The Dread Pirate Two-By-Two

Intermittent ribbing from Lego representatives over the years has made clear that BrikWars could use a new mascot. The Deadly SpaceMan, despite satiric alterations, still bears enough resemblance to Lego's trademarked Minifigure that his use is judged to be a little iffy. Not enough so yet that they've felt the need to raise official objections, but for the benefit of both parties, I've been looking into developing some new BrikWars iconography.

That's a rather dry introduction for our dastardly new friend, The Dread Pirate Two-By-Two, the Burning Brick, the most violent 2x2 block the world has ever seen! So barbarically incorrigible, even Mega Bloks wouldn't take him; he's cursed to sail the seas forever, raining death and destruction indiscriminately across all brands of construction toys.

Take No Prisoners!
Never before has a 2x2 block inspired such universal fear and terror as the dread Two-By-Two, the Burning Brick of the high seas.

Yes, April Fools! I'm thinking about making real products later, but for now a pirate thong and dog shirt are all you get.
