BrikWars in its current state would never have been possible without
the generous help and support of dozens of fans, well-wishers,
and unwitting 'contributors.' Here's a few of the big ones.

Not all BrikWars battle pages are associated with regular groups.
Here's a few that didn't fit into any other categories.

The
Battle for Nagateppo Monastery
- February 2, 2000
After seeing so many great
fan sites, the BrikWars home team decided to do a battle
write-up of our own. This game was one of the
playtests for the Medieval Japan supplement.

BrikWars
at BricksWest: Capture the Flag
- April 19, 2002
Here's the game we hosted
at the BricksWest 2002 convention in Carlsbad, California.
Great fun was had by all, and large chunks of the meticulously-constructed
city were razed to the ground.

BrikWars
at GenCon 2002: The Cypress Tree Massacre
- August 10, 2002
James Seibert and Chris Weeks
ran a medieval Japanese battle at GenCon which was almost
too large for the table.

The
Battle of ISS Glacier
This was the first battle
in an ongoing saga
of Ice Planet rebels vs. the evil Spyrius Empire.
A simple abduction of a major political figure turns
into a bloodbath as four opposing forces try to take
violent advantage of the situation and, predictably,
end up disrupting the space-time continuum.

in a scene strangely reminiscent of college dorm life,
desperate men attempt to claw their way through narrow
and winding corridors choked with debris and piles of
bloody dismembered corpse-chunks.

The
ISS Glacier Strikes Back
Following the classic BrikWars
maneuver that concluded the Battle of ISS Glacier, strange
alien artifacts began emerging through the resulting
rifts in the fabric of space-time. The four combatants
sent additional waves of forces to be the first to claim
these mysterious prizes.

in as fine an example of BrikWars logic as any we've
seen, this green axe-wielding mech was able to chop
incoming missiles out of the air because "everyone
thought it would be cool."

Return
of the Crystals
After the retrieval of the
alien crystals, it became a race to see who would be
the first to return them to the alien ruins on Phobos,
although no one knew for sure what the result would
be. The alien influence of the crystals had a
strange effect on the combatants, causing the battle
to end in a repulsive and disturbing surprise twist.

The
Battle for Stupid Hill
Markham
Carroll defended against a viciously random attack by
his little brother in the Battle for Stupid Hill.
This is about what it sounds like, a battle tossed together
with the most random elements available, with cowboys
and chefs going up against battlemechs and fortified
bases.

Gencon
2003
GameLUG
has returned from another successful tour at Gencon,
hosting games of BrikWars, Evil Stevie's Pirate Game,
and Pirate Wars.

OurCon
2004
Hendo
and Teddy staged a battle for Moonbase control over
at the OurCon convention. Civilians played a surprisingly
non-target-dummy role, but the results of the battle
were unchanged, thanks to a quick-thinking soldier's
ingenious use of the control tower instruments.
