i wholeheartedly concur with the point of this thread.
my local gaming store has its own facebook, to which i just posted a link to the brikwars page, and asked if they might be willing to host a tournament at some point.

G: Rayhawk should have a large decals on the sides of his car with BRIKWARS.COM on it!

*ahem*

I do believe that seeing advertisements for Brikwars on the side of MY vehicle would deter new players.

If that happens, then we don't want them anymore. We want horses who look at potholes and actually go around them.

about decals:
it would be so awesome if Rayhawk produced a series of brikwars bumperstickers.
also, i would definitely wear a shirt with the brikwars logo emblazoned on it.

just some little tidbits to ruminate over.

We could just upgrade to Worgs.

Nitewatchman wrote:Meh, I think it's fine as-is. Yes, it would be lovely if everyone played Brikwars, but then it might be detrimental to the health of the game. We'd have some young upstart try to lead a forum revolt, demanding that Rayhawk change the game from X to Y, and then the almighty Overlord would ban she/he/it and people would leave or something, causing drama.

Small numbers are more fun.

You think too much. We can cross that bridge when we get to it. It doesn't do us any good worrying about something that hasn't happened yet when we don't know for sure if it will happen (and there is great ambivalence here) or what those consequences will be if it does happen. (Again, great ambivalence.) Those are things we can think about later.

I like the idea of posting our link to gaming pages.

Yea, Cafe Press is obsessed with thongs.

I think bumper-stickers are a horrible idea for anything. They look horrible no matter what. Rayhawk should make bumper-magnets.
