"Well the first thing I have to tell you about is my party. Out of the five of us, one is a deceptive tramp, two are clever fighters who seem to have Pakkaan's luck and the last is an honour bound warrior."

"Out of all of them, I can only depend on the tramp. The warrior, Gregor has no mercy in his being. His role on the battlefield is to slaughter and cause pain to our poor opponents, and his devotion to his heathen beliefs block his reason."

"I murdered goblins, and their pets. My hands are stained with blood, and I beg for your forgiveness. When I try to lead, they hesitate to follow. They think of me as a fool for being merciful and forgiving. I admit that I haven't studied tactics, and I'm not great at chess, but I can't trust their tactical advice, even when it's right. If Gregor were in charge of the party during battle, the enemy would not be able to retreat and my inner peace would become more chaotic."

"The journey's gains were orbs. Five orbs, each when placed in this stone building opened a staircase. When I showed them to a mirror that didn't show our reflections it cracked."

"You are forgiven. When doing Päkkaan's holy work, you must let no one hinder you. Do you know why the goblins were so far away from their home? And where did that staircase lead?"

Which is why I get to be the one sitting around reading books on strategy and remain the same static warrior as before!

And it's Gerald, not Gregor. Gregor's our thief.

"You didn't follow the staircase? It sounds like it would lead to something important. But I understand you wouldn't want to do that if your supplies were running out... Restock today, and head back tomorrow to continue your investigation."

I mull it over for a few minutes, then say, "I need some time to think this over, give me a few days and you will have my decision, I bid you good day m'lady." I then re-join the group

Do I have to buy food? Also, I'm going to pay the guys the rest of the money. They've risked their lives and I can trust them enough not to murder me and make my skin into a quilt.

Nisos:

"Very well. You'll find me at Gadrein's Furriery on Claw Street. But don't dawdle too long, I want the fur while it's still white and thick."

---

Saucix:

"We will cover the cost of this expedition as well, of course", Mother Salvegard says, and fixes her gaze on Saucix. "But this time, be sure to make a thorough investigation."

Saucix receives another 100 gold pieces, then pays the rest of the group the money he owes them for the last expedition.

So is that all you do that day? It's late afternoon now. Sleeping at The Old Bear costs 1 gp.
