heh, no one has mentioned the gold and silver re-hashes. I own the first 5 seasons of the anime and my little brother is on his way to get the rest, but I reckon only the first couple seasons are actually good. I've played since 3rd gen, but I normally get bored after a couple weeks with new games now.

I used to be really into the card game, but I haven't played it for a few years now. Boxes upon boxes of old, old cards are stacked in my closet.

I hope this doesn't count against me, but I'd be willing to sell them if anyone's in the market (PM me for details, I don't want to clutter this poor thread).

Not that I think too many people will be interested, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. I've got damn near nothing from the later generations, but I've got a ton of the early cards (including a few in Japanese (literally, they say 'Pocket Monsters' on the back of the cards) and Spanish).

Just found this thread. I started with LeafGreen in whatever generation that was. Then I got Emerald, then Pearl. I was playing Pearl for about 2 years and then I lost interest. Never played it since, but I have the ability to remember most geeky information I obtain. There are about 478 pokemon on the top of my head.

I prefer water starter pokemon. The first gym is always rock type, and you can beat all of them in four water guns.

I've got a hacked rom of pokemon fire red called shiny gold that has new trainer battles, different islands, graphics and makes many of the rarer pokemon a lot more common e.g. I have an unown found only 20 minutes into the game.

Im so late to this thread, but Im with Warhead here, I seriously despise Pokemon.

I mean, sure, first stuff that came out was kinda nice, I was a kid back then so the collect em all fever was around anyways... damn, now that I think about it, there I was with my Green Army Men and Hotwheels playing with my friends, and then there were the Pokemon and Digimon and wtf-mon retards doing jerk-off training with their Digivice-whatamagigs!
