You apply the weapon enhancer to your crossbow. +3+ = Odd = Stat bonus. The brossbow now does (1d5+2) (3-7 points of damage)!

You are so excited about this, however, that you fail to actually fire at any goblins.

As you lunge forward, you slice open and thus kill one of the two remaining goblins. However, you fall, and land on the ground. On said ground, you pick up an object. Closer examination reveals it to be a Weapon Enhancer.

Kat
Move rating: 5
Kat, like Sir Thorg, is getting a little bored. Therefore, Kat decides to go eat the last remaining goblin. The room is now cleared out.

As you take a moment to enjoy Sir Loristrang's handy work, a man runs in, clearly out of breath.

"Stop! There's a goblin clan in ther-.... Oh. Ok. Um,...well, I'm here to tell you that the watch saw you come in here, and told the City Chief. The City Chief would like to offer each of you 200gp, as well as a ride to the next city. We've heard of your mission, and we support it. We know a shortcut, in esscence. Would it be in your Honors' interest to take it?

Since Sir Loristrang is using his purse as a hood, Kat takes his 200 gp. In the next town, keep Kat with you if you want to buy anything.

To clarify, he means the next town a few miles out. Not the one right here. Just in case you want to skip a leg of the journey.

The heroes leave to begin their journey to the distant town, save for Loristrang, who simply stands where he is and waves them goodbye.

When the heroes arrive in the town, they find that Sir Loristrang is waiting for them at the gate.

Trisold- "How the hell did you get here?"
Loristrang- "I walked. What the hell took you guys so long?"

In other words, let's just get to the town.

The party decides to take the city's offer, and proceed to the next town. Maybe the City Chief just didn't want you guys going through his gates?....

As you get in the taxi-cart, you notice Sir Loristrang still standing there, and Kat missing. In just a few moments, though, Kat comes bounding out of the caves with an obviously heavier purse. At least someone decided to loot the bodies. (Kat got 54gp)

As you ride off, Sir Loristrang waves goodbye to you. Perhaps he is done with the quest?..........No, as soon as you reach the gates of the next city, he is there waving at you.

"Hail, friends. What took you slackers so long?"

Sir Loristrang made good use of his magical boots 8)

City: Keigswroth

Here in the city, you find a inn, an armory, a weaponry a thieves guild and a potion master.

As you are walking, you are greeted by a man...who looks like a teenager.

"Hello there! My name is Thyst. I am a....shop owner in this city. Sir Thorg, I am interested in that gem you have there. Might I see it?"

Sir Thorg sits there, stunned. How on earth does this kid know about the gem which Sir Thorg has so carefully hidden? ...and how dare he talk to knights like that!

"Um, me no know what you talking about, little human."

"Hahaha! Sir Thorg, you are a most dreadful liar. I would most enjoy looking at that Amethyst Soul Gem you have there."

And with that the gem flew out of Sir Thorg's pocket, and into Thyst's hand.

"Thank you. Oh, and if you'd like to come see my shop, it's now open to you guys."

As he walks away, he calls back; "Oh, and Sir Thorg? Yeah, I'm not actually human. But often people mix up humans and alakors, so I suppose I forgive you."

Pickpocket a mere 15 GP from each party member (including Kat), I'm sure they won't mind.

Buy 5 extra weapon slots, and go stay at the inn.

...hey!..

Dat's mine dat is...

[Thorg is about to take the measured and considered response of the universally just screwed by grabbing the little shit by the neck, ramming him against a wall and placing the keen edge of his battleaxe up between his legs with just the right amount of suggestive pressure to obtain compliance, wizard or no.]

Pay, Thorg.

Erm... I think I'll just take Sir Alex's 50, thank you good sah.

I guess that means only 4 extra slots then, unless Kat wants to lend an extra 5. :D

Gold must be so plentiful it's almost worthless, wooden shafts for arrows are at a premium. They obviously have no Khristmas spirit. AND!
