Yet another space combat rule set

Post by Theblackdog » Wed Jun 25, 2008 2:17 pm

This is my space-combat rule set. It's moderately complex, with a frictionless movement system but without the reams of equations that usually accompany extremely realistic space games. It's a bit like the Pirate Game, you can play single battles but the full version plays more like a roleplaying game. If you just want the basic game, you only need to read parts one through five (movement, combat, ship types, weapons and equipment, and minifig combat). In a monumental lapse of judgment I have put the rule modifications for the microscale version of the game at the very end of the document, but they're fairly short.

Although i did not read everything, it looks pretty good and elaborated.

My official post number 1000 was "The whole battle?"

also did just a brief scanover, and i can't say that i completely hated it! which is great praise since frictionless combat tends to be way more trouble than it's worth!

Holy TBD, I don't have Word.

Thanks a lot!
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

If I ever find myself in possession of a few giant lego spacecraft, these are the rules I will use. :D
