Dudes, I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I had to go to a friends house today. I disappointed him the other day, and I needed to make it up to him. Do you guys wanna set up another game for the same time on Wednesday?

Sure, after about 30min we joined a FFA, I got disconnected about 20min into it but I managed to send 2 waves of pirates shaeph's way.

Also I think we should all get the beta 1.1 patch unless either of you two know how to change the ports to host online.

Patch? My game is v1.5. Doesn't everyone have that by now?

Also, pirates get old after a while. As cool as they are, I think it would be better just to use your own units to do the fighting for you. I always thought that money would be better spent building a fleet.

I think we could have a lot of fun playing on Doppleganger. Has anyone played that map? Everyone starts in a small star system, allowing everyone time to develop before everyone researches long distance jumps. It gives time for those people that like to defend, and prevents annoying rushes that plague so many other games.

Anyway, I'm sorry. I wanted to let you guys know before hand, but I had to go. I'll be on tomorrow morning if anyone wants in.

That'd be 1.05 you have and I was to busy capping planets to send any of my units. I'll try out doppelganger tonight.

Just make sure one of you guys has the ports forwarded so you we can host.

For the first wave some guy put 250 on you then I thought "what the heck, it's not me" and put more on. The second wave there was some left over and I'm guess the guy that started right next to you added to that.

I'm liking doppelganger.

Yeah, doppleganger is good for a four to five hour game. Definitely good for those that like to start slow rather than rush it. So yeah, I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Real RTS is for the commited. You'd be surprised how immersed you get into a Sins game. Besides, it'll probably be much shorter due to connection issues. That or some strange alliance will be forged to destroy the other players. Sins is a game that does that. Its psychological as well as strategic.

The average battlefield 2142 game against my brother is over before it started.

I tell a lie- every single BF2142 game against my brother is over before it started.
