Actually all the melee combat looks pretty impressive. I'm really looking forward to people re-inventing shooters by taking more of the emphasis away from the "shoot the dude by aiming at him correctly" mechanic, and by exploring other options, like beating the living hell out of people. I'd love to play this game with the music turned off.

Oh, and I will insult. Dubstep (and it's related genres) is actually pretty damn cool, but Skrillex is anything BUT a DJ.

Agreed, as a DJ one of the most important skills is changing your stuff to best fit the crowd, and all that guy does is make a track, and play it while pretending to do stuff.

He is not, however, all that terrible at composing said tracks, although there's some sloppy sampling there.

See, what looks so good is the gameplay. The story may or may not (I don't know) be crap, but the gameplay still looks impressive. Also, they knew how to present it so that it looks cool.

Its supposed to be a reboot of the original Syndicate series, which was released back in 1996. This game takes place 100 years before, right when these mega-corporations were making agents and taking over the world or whatever.
