Realm of the Mad God

Anybody playing this? It got on steam lately, rather brainless yet oddly compelling hack and slash title. With permanent character death.

We had a post about this a few months ago, most of us stopped playing I'd imagine. It's good, but if they dropped the micro transaction bullshit and made it easier to rank up to the higher classes, it'd be even better.

My son and I still play it regularly. Mostly because you can login and start owning shit in like 1 minute plus you can just walk away at a moments notice. These are nice features with a new baby, 3 kids, etc etc =P

We always play on US MIdwest server. Send a /tell to Morgasm when you're online! Don't be mad if I don't reply right away. Sometimes it's hard to see the text... it spams by so quickly and is difficult to read in some terrain. Just keep msg'n me and I'll surely respond.

Oh god trains. I love trains. You have not lived until you have been subject to a suitably sizable train for an extended period of time. It is a roving mass of death.

I dunno-the one time I played it, the experience lasted about an hour or two and I went into all sorts of dungeons and hit the edges of the map, but it never got challenging for me.

Pretty fun game, wizards are pretty kickass when you level them enough and get nice stuff.

Unlocked all classes now. Necromancer is a lot of fun. I really like playing Huntress also. Paladin is OK; only melee class I don't get frustrated with.
