I remember someone kept mixing mgb519 and me up, for some reason.

But yeah, I also remember people by their avatar, although I have to rely on names when browsing with my phone, because I can't have the avatar and text on the screen at the same time when zoomed in.

I have two things to add to that post.

6. I am no longer a fan of Alexisonfire. It's one of the three names I've carried over the years to make accounts easier to remember.

7. I am, however, a fan of Matthew Good Band, and thus find mgb519's name very misleading. The first time I saw it, I was like "wait, someone else on here listens to them?!"

That's my useless personal input on this topic.

I used to care that I couldn't tell people apart. Now I realize that most of you are the same anyway so it isn't a big deal. Some of you are unique enough that you stand apart, but most people here haven't done enough for me to form solid identifications in my mind which separate you.

I think that might have been me, but that's because of the acronym and number thing... plus I think both you and mgb519 were switching avatars at the time...

I use visual reconginsion a lot, so I can be thrown off if someone changes their hairstyle or something...

This gets rather annoying on 4chan's /tg/ board, as without names I keep thinking that one complainer in the thread is a Samefag...
