I like Blitzen's idea more (giving points to members and when they have enough they are let into the Non-Dimmies forum). Every member has his or her own stupid point system and gives points to people who they feel deserve it, with their own set of rewards. It is the responsibility of every person giving points to keep track of how many points he or she has given each member, and distribute rewards.

I give pesgores 5 points for coming up with a stupid idea that I could convert into another stupid idea.

How is that my idea? My idea is that this idea sucks. In fact, most forms of currency on message boards suck unless there are actual goods being purchased by real money. Of course, at this point it ceases to be "Brik money" and starts being "real money" with the added bonus of it actually being worth something.

Oh really? Well in that forum I saw they used the points to buy armies at the shop and it was kinda cool when you watched through their inventories and saw "50000 Clone Troopers, 10000 LAAT/i Gunships, etc.".

Now a way of simulating a battle between 2 armies would be cool...

Consider this for a second... Were we to implement the system as Pegosaurus-Rex outlined it, it would lead to all manner of chaos and destruction on the forums. Lulz would be had by all and the whole place would go up in flames. Blood for the blood god!!

Other than acess to special forums, pehaps points can get you into a forum battle, like I give points to worthy users and when I have a forum battle I give the spots to the most point people.
