I'd definatly vote for ron or obama. Mostly ron. Rick and Bachman are both batshit insane.

The Great Depression wasn't solved by government programs, it was solved by World War II.

The govt could use new revenues from having them removed to fund stuff like scientific research which can lead to technological improvements and therefore new industries/markets being created. Corporations are being all corporation-y and not spending this money so why not have the govt take it and actually do something with it?

Umm... ok? Giving money to companies isn't a social program. I'm talking about a lot of the New Deal stuff that didn't work.

Oh is it my move now?
Ok, let me think.
If this country was a meritocracy then Ron Paul would be working at McDonald's.

Oh god politics. Sorry but I have to bitch about politics before I can become involved in this conversation. Back when obama was first running for president, their were so people in my school waving around obama signs. One particular guy next to me at lunch was being kind of anoying with it, since I didn't support obama, and I asked him if he could put that thing down or something. By the time my next class was starting, people were asking me if I didn't like obama because he was black or, and I'm not making this up, "Because he's a muslim?" (LOLfail). I ignored them, and at the end of that class period, I was mobbed by about a dozen or so kids pestering a 12 year old about his political opinions. people who couldn't vote chose to make a non voters live hard because if he could vote it would be for someone else. So yeah, I try to avoid politics a lot.
As for who I would vote for, I forget his name, he is a black guy who wasn't obama, a rep I think. You'd be amazed how much that narrows it down for me. Course I'm just waiting for texas to cecede by this point. No force on earth could get me to vote for a guy who's brought about more debt than all the money in the US, and who won't stop pushing for universal healthcare.

Dissemination of the system, lack of support of individual choice, ill-warranted device for most company's transferral of plan, and the fear that today's system that already clogs ERs for hours will triple in size, I believe.
