Now that i find out that people invented it and sometimes it can really help one's mind.

But god can't interfere on our lives phisically. So, if someone dies, you have an accident, whatever, it helps, really, to recover.

I prefer to watch YouTube videos to recover from something like that.

:? You are all missing the point, I think. The point is that having a mini figure that enforces fair rules in the game, like a "God". I'm not against anyones beliefs but you could replace "God" with the Astarte Bunny or a Rock!

Last time I checked, "God" doesn't enforce fair play. This f'd up world is full of unfairness. A cosmological referee would be infinitely more irritating than what we currently have (which I leave up to each reader to decide for himself).

really humans keep proving god doesn't exist.

first he lived in the sky (sorry the wright brothers killed that theory)

then there was a chance he lived in space (can you say neil armstrong)

this only leaves alternate dimensions that we can't even prove if they exist.


as well people said god created everything as-is

we keep on changing the story of god to fit modern scientific achievements that make a lot more sense than god.

perhaps we create god to explain the unexplainable.

to be honest i envy the people who believe in god.
the reason being is that if something new is discovered that doesn't make sense they can just say god did it! and be done with it. in order for everyone else to prove their theories we need to have cash and do all sorts of experiments like the mythbusters.

I think this kind of discussion should be abandonded for if a God does exsist could one not easily provide evidence to discredit himself and flesh out true believers, but this God would also not prove his exsistance in any way,so wno one can say he really does exsist, thus the argument is unprovable to either outcome.

we reach a problem. if your an athiest then you will believe the reason that there is no proof of god is that he doesn't exist. if your religious you'll just say he doesn't want you to know (wich gets kinda weak.)

personally i can't o one way or the other. although science will always take presidence (i will not bend beliefs of science due to religion. unfortunatly many idiots will alter the proven science for the unproven myth.)

honestly other than the fact that 95+% of the world believes in a god in one shape or form. there is no proof that god exists. and the best way to explain why so many people believe in god is that there lonely. or they don't understand things. honestly do you think that IF god exists that he would want to listen to 1000's of people begging for forgiveness. even if god exists i can't imagine him having a different personality then us and i certainly would not want to listen to all those confessions. but that's just me
