Since I tried to stay within the supernatural dice cliche so far, I think a d6 (general) or a d8 (range) might be more appropriate for that interesting power.
If you have 10 faces but use less than that to create your supernatural dice pool, the remaining faces aren't lost. You can always reconfigure your pool when you increase your level of supernatural powers (or under other appropriates circumstances).

The game will continue from the delivery point. I would say that you have now completed roughly 50% of the scenario (excluding the unplanned (and unconfirmed at this point) space battle and the optional cave exploration).

About the space battle. Isn't there anyone interested?

Just in case, here are the stats of the ships involved (for now):

About the space battle. Isn't there anyone interested?
I think, in order to draw in interested parties, you could add an addendum to the title of the topic, like SPACE PILOTS WANTED or something like that. I hope we get some sign ups though, I want to see how this plays out.

If you still need a space pilot, I'm up for it. I'll take the security ship.

Edit: orders have been pm'd.

Welcome aboard! The Noxarian fleet is yours.

Now if someone could take the Space Pirates, that would be great.

Try to use Farce healing to reattach my arm, add a point in HP if I leveled up, also grab an apple, some armor (only if I don't get half move though) and a bow, then follow the others into the cave.

Sorry Maverick, Scribonius already claimed them. Thanks for showing interest though :)

Note: Most of the movement on the planet was replaced by fudge.

Captain Flash Maxwell (Lord Mercat) and Garth Sneakyheadkiller (lawmaster)
Image
"Hm, well, I AM basically the galaxy's greatest knight in shining armor, may as well fulfill the literal part of that", says Flash as he and Garth take some time to look for upgrades.

Image
They grab the body armor of the last two Savages the group killed (+1 armor).

Image
Flash looks for Spacefleet's Patentented Uniforminator in his inventory but the device isn't there..

Image
He has no choice but to use another camouflage technique.
He removes the armor and his uniform...

Image
puts on the armor first...

Image
then wears spacefleet uniform over it.
“Have to keep up that pristine Captain's look.”

Image
Something catches Flash's eye "Wait, just one minute!"
Garth wears an helmet and gains another +1 to armor.

Image
He then looks for a replacement hand but couldn't find anything.

Image
Since he cannot use two handed weapons without a second hand, he decides to take the smaller axe.

Image
He then starts dancing and singing songs about smashing heads while waiting for the others.

Image
"That lake- the sewage is being dropped right into it! As a Captain of Spacefleet, no, as Captain Flash Maxwell, hero of the people, and savior to the little man I cannot let this stand! It's a blatant violation of proper illegal waste disposal clause #247, they have to put the waste in barrels, and dump the barrels into the river, much more bureaucratically sound that way!" Lets see..."

Image
Image
Flash grabs the oversized clam sitting on the beach and uses it to block off the sewage pipe.

Image
Flash thinks off for a moment:
"Hmm, My crew should be here soon along with the SCS Avoidance, it'll be good to finally get in that posh command chair again! Hope they haven't run into that bastard Spacebeard....."

Image
After "solving" the problem, Flash recovers his equipment and continues on his way back to the rest of the team, blissfully unaware of the ticking timebomb behind him.

The Post-Apoc Survivor (alphafalcon541)
Image
Having doubts that medikal training really is in his resume, the Post-Apoc Survivor picks up the axe again.

Image
He then quickly starts to run to Flash.
“No, you fool, you blathering idiot, pull yourself together. That is not your city, think of all those who will die if you back up the sewage! What will all your fans think? They'll see their hero destroy a whole city in the name of nature!”

Image
“There's no nature in this valley, there's only wild creatures trying to kill us and some survivors like us. Pull yourself together man, and come with me instead of trying to defy natural apocalyptic circumstances, or (cocking his crossbow) I can remove your foot and get my men to haul your ass back to Reyo II? Up to you. Make the choice.”

The Space Detective (Scratch)
Image
Image
The legs of the Space Detective gets up and walks to him.

Image
He climbs atop them, sitting slightly awkwardly and offcenter.

Image
He grabs an apple and add it to his inventory.

Image
Trying to get use to his new supernatural legs, he moves to Garth and addresses everyone:
"That was fun, but I think we should aim for a more organized run of things, such as not running around with our heads cut off until they actually get cut off."

Jaras Kyfi (Falk)
Image
Jaras tries to use his farce healing power to reattach his arm but nothing happens.

Image
He picks up a bow and a quiver though he knows he won't be able to use them with only one hand.

Image
He moves to the initial camp of the garrison to check for additionnal loot.

Image
He gets to the body of an axeman and loot his armor (Armor +2).
Bow and quiver added to inventory along with an apple that was gathered along the way.

Image
Space Detective: "That said, should we plan on moving into the cave? Or should we turn in the case and move to the next area?"

Image
Jaras: “I'm ready to go with whoever goes into the cave.”

Image
Not caring about the post apoc survivor, Flash goes to the others.
"Onward Ho! To that cave, and whatever adventure awaits inside for I, Captain Flash Maxwell, to discover, and bring to heel!"

Image
The Post-Apoc Survivor forgets about the sewage pipe and joins the group:
“Let's move into the cave, I feel that is the way forward”

Carlos Indiana Devine (mgb519)
Image
Carlos joins too:
"I don't feel comfortable with that cave over there. It's an unknown to me. Do any of you know where it leads?"

Image
Two Raiders approach.
“Couldn't help but overhear you talking about the cave”

Image
“The real danger is not the wildlife living inside. They're too primitive to represent a serious threat. The only problem was the portal but it's been shut down by a rock collapse a long time ago. Leave it that way and you should be fine.”

Vera Zhrkvsk (Silverdream)
Image
Vera sprints as fast as her lethargic body permits to vodka.
"Give me vodka or give me death, comrades."

Image
“I could give you death... But you're so small and weak.. Here! Take a sip.”
He hands the bottle to Vera.

Mosm the Redeemed (Kalvinator - Idle)
Image
A Janitor walks in.

Image
He picks up Mosm...

Image
and take him out of the battlefield.
Mosm has left the party!

SCS Avoidance (Lord Mercat)
Image
First Mate Gimbles Mayfair responds to the Noxarian Frigate and broadcasts the Spacefleet security -access codes
"This is is First Officer Gimbles Mayfair of Spacefleet proper, under command of the Legendary Spacefleet Captain Flash Maxwell, commanding officer of the SCS Avoidance. Broadcasting Spacefleet access code: #Alpha- 096"
Gimbles continues:
"We are currently following the co-ordinates of our Captain, who responded to a distress signal in this sector not too long ago, we lost his co-ordinates, but have managed to regain them. En route we have been set upon by our recurring nemesis, the Spacebeard Pirates; nefarious doers of evil deeds and heinous acts of piracy and looting across the galaxy! They have frigates in hot pursuit, we've got no time to waste!"

Image
Gimbles to crew:
"Extra power to the Ion Thrusters, lets make for the breach- we've got to get to Captain Maxwell, only he has the tactical genius, and daring-do to defeat these pirates! Prepare all artillery for response fire! Let's make like Flash, and jet out of here!"
The SCS Avoidance redirects extra power to it's Ion Thrusters and launches forward at full speed, setting up all artillery for response fire.

Image
The boost causes the port side engine to overheat!
The SCS Avoidance loses two inches of movement!

Image
“Unloads chaff in the direction of the space pirates to confuse incoming missiles.”
“Hey Gimble. You do know we don't have that onboard right?”
“Then unloads some of the stuff we don't use anymore!”
“Aye!”

Image
The SCS Avoidance deploys a giant nanoparticule, 2 empty barrels, a sad clown, the Uniforminator, the Desuniforminator and an assortment of munchfigs.

Noxarian Control (NPC)
Image
Bureaucracy strikes again!
“Noxarian Control to SCS Avoidance. I can see you are from outside the system. This means I will have to fill some extra paperwork and I will also need special authorizations from my superior before you can enter Noxarian space. In the meantime, please hold your current position. I repeat: Do not enter Noxarian space.”

Noxarian Security (Battlegrinder)
Image
“Patrol-21 to SCS Avoidance. We are requesting your help to clear the Pirates in this area. Do you copy?”

Image
The Interceptor frigate flies at full speed towards the Pirates but couldn't get in range yet.

Space Pirates (Scribonius)
Image
"Avast, ye scurvy starsailers, surrender yer ship to us or be destroyed!"

Image
"Roll out the long nines!"
The Pirates are prepping their vessels for combat!

Image
The Avoidance reacts to the Pirates getting closer and fire a response shot with the Ion Blaster.

Image
Direct hit! The Chimera frigate loses 1 hit point.

Secret faction activated: ESF Reinforcements (NPC)
Image
A drop pod enters the area and is heading straight for Noxarian space.
Noxarian Security objective updated: Do not let the ESF Drop Pods get to the left side of the battlefield and exit the area.

If I am not mistaken, Flash, The Post-Apoc Survivor, Garth and Jaras are heading for the cave. Carlos and the Space Detective are hesitating while Vera simply doesn't care.

Please confirm if you are going into the cave or not. I will move those interested in the entrance and post some Overwatch of your starting location then everyone can send their orders for the next turn.

I want to go into the cave, just let me drink this vodka first.

Vera downs the bottle in seconds, impressing everyone. She then lights a cigarette, while saying something in Russian (or it could just be her wheezing) and remarking that it "is hot here. Not like Russia. Reminds me of Ukraine."

Hopefully this will arouse the crowd and inspire marriage proposals. If this is successful, Vera will say:

"No comrade, is time for cave now. I like big men, strong like bear and tough woman cold as snow."

Hopefully some of them will follow her into the cave.

I'm going to head over to the cave, picking some armor up if it's within fudge boundaries, and prepare to enter.

My fear of the unknown is dispelled. Ask the mercenaries if they have any weaponry to spare, and if so what would be a comparable trade. I know they don't work for free, so I won't assume such.
Otherwise, continue onwards with the party and exercise due caution, sticking to the rear but not the very rear. Use psychic powers to enhance senses to better see and hear in the cave.
