With exams out of the way, I should be able to finish this now.
Round 8
1. Rangers - Brikguy
Miranda is critically successful in patching herself up with some medicinal herbs, restoring 2 HP.
Splotcha, the first dungan paladin, jumps down the wall and tries to use holy smite, but it is ineffective.
2. Woad elves - Scratch
Warbands charge Cassandra, but she stands her ground. The elite swordsman is cut down however.
They clash with the animated suits of armour, but there are no further casualties. Meanwhile a human hand accidentally looms over the battlefield.
3. Dragon Knights - Alex
Brockram picks up a spear and charges Cassandra. The spear glances off her armour...
... but then Brockram slips and falls, the extra force driving the spear into Cassandra's back to deliver the fatal blow.
With Cassandra dead, her animated henchmen become inanimate.
The last knight is killed by his dragon knight adversary.
Garth stabs the iron grannie, thus killing the last of the Crimson Knights!
This has the side effect of dispelling the bridge however, which causes one of the woad elves to fall to his death.
4. Undead Garrison - Silverdream
The skeletons fall back. Some pick up ranged weapons and fire at Splotcha, but they can't hurt him.
With the grave wraith's help, the undead giant breaks down the wall.
The undead zombie chicken man tickles the wall with his feathers, hoping it will crumble.
Success!
The dark elves charge the opening their allies just made for them.
