Carved in Stone (Round 10)

Post by Bragallot » Tue Jul 22, 2014 6:32 pm

Round 9: http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopi ... 16&t=12643

Round 10

1. Undead Garrison - Silverdream

Image

The skeletons take down Miranda, who does take one of them down with her.

Image

Those that can attack Splotcha, who stands his ground but can't get rid of any of his attackers either.

Image

The grave wraiths kill two woad elves at range.

Image

The giant hurls a rock at a woad elf, who manages to parry it. The dark elves miraculously fail to take down the other two.

2. Rangers - Brikguy

Image

Splotcha tries to attack and use a feat, but both fail and the skeletons knock him over (2 HP left).

3. Dragon Knights - Alex

Image

With a devastating burninate attack, the Trogdor turns three of the grave wraiths to ash.

Image

This gives some hope to the few remaining dragon knights led by Brockram.

4. Woad Elves - Scratch

Image

One dark elf falls to one of the warbands.

Round 11 (and following*)

* At this point there were very few guys left and it was just a bitter struggle to the end, so I continued with everyone's orders and let the remaining forces fight to the last man.

1. Rangers - Brikguy

Image

Splotcha was lucky enough to be allowed to start the round this time around, but his rolls were so bad that the skeletons managed to put him down before he could accomplish anything (0 HP).

2. Undead Garrison - Silverdream

Image

The skeletons then begin to shamble to where the fighting is thickest.

Image

A devastating attack from the three undead units left on this side of the field eliminates all three remaining woad elves.

3. Dragon Knights - Alex

Image

Brockram attacks the last grave wraith, but falls to a counter!

Image

This time, the damage of the Trogdor's burninate attack falls short.

Image

He then uses his devastating pounce attack (limited to one use per battle) however, killing the grave wraith and dark elf. The powerful AoE attack also wounds the undead giant.

Image

Dragoons push on.

(Round 12 and following)

Image

The skeletons keep advancing.

Image

Undead giant hits the Trogdor, but falls two points of damage short of wounding him. They trade a couple of attacks, but neither is able to wound the other, the undead giant withstanding both chomp and burninate attacks.

Image

He couldn't withstand the dragoon's devastating attack though, for it was strong enough to kill him two times over.

Image

The dragoon in turn then falls to the advancing skeletons, whom the Trogdor fails to burninate.

Image

The final dragoon's attack plows through two skeletons!

Image

The skeletons, who had been dealing a lot of damage up until this point, now get some bad rolls, and the dragoon miraculously withstands them.

Image

Getting a couple of crits on his counter attack, he kills two more skeletons.

Image

On his own round, he defeats the final one. Amazing!

Image

The Trogdor and this one dragoon is all that's left standing.

"Uhh, onward to the Black Citadel, then?"

ROAR

Image

Cassandra: "*cough* Fools- *cough* Your only hope- *cough* Is to join them..." *gasp*

Final Kill count:

Rangers / Dwellers - 24
Nimoë / Dark Elves - 22 (+1 friendly fire)
Inferno - 17
Woad Elves - 13
Dragon Knights - 26 (+2 friendly fire)
Crimson Knights - 9 (+1 friendly fire)
Kamos the Skylord - 0 (1 friendly fire)

That was Carved in Stone, thanks for playing! Next stop (for this arc): woad elf territory!

GG, I'm happy to see more Woad Action in the future, and hopefully we don't die as fast this time.

Well, my plan of "hold off the Dragon knights so the rest of team evil can wipe out the elves and rangers and then relieve me" almost worked. Congrats to everyone!
