BROOTALZ
The WarWreks turns its fearsome glower to the source of its intense headache. The earlier distraction was now broken, thanks to the incredible damage it received.
It growls and returns its attention to the Dreadknight.
And unleashes a devastating attack.
Both giant chainguns deal enough damage to override the Dreadknight's armor and last size point, ripping both arms off in the process.
One of the arms crashes onto the Immortal frontlines, killing two Regulars and knocking over the mortar.
The other one turns a Brootal bigboy's head into paste.
Grimjaw suddenly sits up, looking bewildered at the goings-on around him. Then it all comes back to him.
"YOU LOT JUS' TRIED TAH SHOOT ME WHILE I WAZ LYIN' DOWN?!"
Red Kaptain and the nearby soldier stare at him blankly.
"No."
"Of course not."
"THAT. MAKES ME. VERY.....ANGERY."
Grimjaw Gitgrabba angrily grabs the sandwich runner.
"YOU FUGGIN"
And tosses him into a couple of regulars, disrupting all three.
"COOOWAAARDZ!"
He turns toward Red Kaptain and fires away.
But a redshirt also saves him from the damage that would've been otherwise fatal.
"Well shit."
Gunnerz gang up on a regular, pulping him from the neck up.
They then take up positions among the wreckage.
On the other side, more gunnerz gather behind the best cover they can find.
Now seeing it as good luck, Gonk and the other gunnerz who made fun of him continued under the hindquarters of the Wreks, coming out unscathed.
Gonk lifts up his unwieldy hodgepodge of a gun and fires away.
And with a stroke of good fortune and some high dice rolls, he headshots an Immortal gunner.
Gunnerz rain down fire on another gun nest.
And blow up the gun along with the soldier manning it.
The last bigboy tosses wreckage from a bike aside, slowly but surely getting into range to do something.
The reinforcements however...
Make a sprint roll and end up with with a total of 16" worth of move.
Needless to say they waste very little time to join their surviving comrades at the Immortals front door.
With the gruntz out of the way, the Broozer and two Boomrodders clamber on top of the rocky outcropping for a better vantage point.
The Broozer braces itself and fires its huge kannon.
The explosive travels a whole 12" and will have to wait to the Immortal's turn to reach the wall, but Terrorkhan have other plans.
The 3" explosive explodes a mere 2 inches from the wall. The worst of the damage is negated.
But the nearest of Warhead's Finest are disrupted from the shockwave.
