The questions themselves have nothing to do with the combatants.

Plus, if you read Darkling Plain you'll understand why the League has any HTA craft.

Speaking of which, here are some pics!

Image

There they are. The airship is called the Sigaw Na Bala, and the HTA craft are, from the left, the Jim Gordon Tigerclaw, Death in a Large Package, and Slag You Newton.

A side-on view of the Sigaw Na Bala.

A head on view of the same.

The Death in a Large Package

Image

A head-on view so you can see the rocket pod, heavy machine cannon, and the four bombs.

Image

The Slag You Newton. The picture's a bit blurry, but you can see it's an ornithopter, not a monoplane or a glider. It's sole armament is a browning-style drum-magazine machine gun.

The Slag You Newton head-on.

PS about the blurryness, these pics were taken with a webcam, I'm currently having issues with my digi, so you'll have to wait until I can find a decent camera for less than $75.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this battle is different than most in that you have to answer a trivia question in order to get a spot.

Unless you answered the question, of course. In that case, good to see some more players actually being eligible for this.

u need to answer:

Copenhagen Air Forces: What is the most devastating weapon at the disposal of the Guild of Historians in Mortal Engines?

Or otherwise demonstrate knowledge that you could not have ripped off the wikipedia entry on the Hungry City Chronicles.

Now that I am ready to start, I am opening the Copenhagen Air Forces to traditional signup. First come, First serve!

I think I would be stretching it a bit by signing up for this as well as the Tale of One City, especially when I am a new start so I reluctantly and ungraciously have to pass, sorry. Looking forward to the battle though, looks awesome.
