Pokemon Battle Royal

Its just another day for Gold, who is strolling along minding his own business.

When suddenly his rival, Silver, shows up!

And challenges him to a Pokemon Battle!

Gold accepts, and the the battle begins!

Silver sends out . . .

Chikorita!

Gold sends out . . .

Totidile!

But wait! Silver is sending out another Pokemon, it's . . .

Magnemite!

So Gold sends out . . .

Mareep!

And Silver sends out his final Pokemon. Go . . .

Zubat!

And Gold sends out his final Pokemon, a . . .

Diglett!

The battle begins!

Alright, so this is basically going to be a three vs three Brikwar. But since there are only six Pokemon fighting each other, they are going to have HP. In order to take down HP, you will need to roll higher than the other Pokemon's armor rating. Both HP and armor ratings will be determined before Round 1.

The other thing to keep in mind is, since this is Pokemon, you will have certain attacks you can use i.e. water gun and vine whip. I will pm those moves to the players sometime this weekend. Also keep in mind that super effective attacks i.e. water against fire will do extra damage while not very effective attacks i.e. water against grass do less damage. I actually was thinking about making some Pokemon Lego figures, but haven't gotten around to it.

Yeah, I've been replaying Gold for nostalgia's sake and after seeing all my favorite Pokemon again I figured I may as well try to make LEGO versions of them.

And besides, the idea of Pokemon LEGOs battling it out in a BrikWar was too awesome to not do.

Okay, we now have everyone signed up. Since Friday is my last day of school before exams, I will be spending tomorrow doing all the Spanish homework I was supposed to be doing this quarter, but I might get a chance to PM moves to everyone. If not then, then hopefully by Friday and definitely by Saturday.

In the meantime, feel free to make suggestions as to the game mechanics. I'm pretty set on how to do confusion/poison/paralysis, but I'm still struggling with super effective moves. On the one hand, I want to make it do some extra damage, but if I make it too much Chikorita will completely own Gold's team.

I'm also considering letting someone play as Gold and Silver, but I can't really think of much for them to do other than use a potion or berry.

I'm very open to ideas at this point.

Perhaps give it higher accuracy? Or maybe just +1 damage, if the HP's in the 10s, or +2 if you have a little more HP.

You're really getting good at these clever scenarios.
As for confusion, I thought it would be cool if you translated that player's orders into a different language and then back to English using an online translator before you followed them.

Make Gold and Silver medics? Then they can heal the Pokemon and stuff, which is pretty much what a trainer does.
