For the Dominance of the Hat, this planet must be taken
The Hatwinians lived long after the fall of most normal Fig empires, roaming the universe to take over planets, and then leave as soon as they were claimed. They erected portals to move them across the endless stars, and their only identification was their namesake hat, which took myriad colors to signify who they worked for.
However, when they were not razing foreign empire, they squabbled amongst themselves, attempting to assert the superiority of certain hat colors, but their wars would never cease, for the Hatwinians were infinite in number, and would always return. There are no Heroes.
This battle occurs when six rival Hats decided to take over Olmesar, thousands of years after the end of Brikhart, though the abandoned city is where they placed their portals, and because the armies can never be truly destroyed, it will last 6 rounds, with the victor being the Hat controlling the most 'sectors'.
Each Hat faction has only one troop type, with a basic ranged weapon. There are also Flyers, Tanks, and Turrets. More on those later.
When a Hatwinian dies, they revive at the end of the turn after at their gate. Flyers and Tanks do not respawn, and Turrets are invincible.
To buy vehicle, you must hold an Ore Spot, which are the Bionicle disks, and you hold it by placing a fig on it. You get 1 Ore Point at the end of each turn per occupied Ore Spot, and buy vehicles in your orders. They spawn at your portal at the end of the turn they were purchased. Tanks and Flyers cost 2 Points, Turrets cost 1.
Flyers are very fast, hold 1 Fig, and may bomb all figs directly below them in place of the Pilot attacking. They are less durable than tanks.
Tanks are slower, hold 2 Figs, and have a cannon either fig may operate.
Turrets are just a cannon. Figs in a Vehicle have a 50% chance of avoiding shots directed at them, but Turret figs do not.
You win by controlling the most Sections at the end of Round 6, and to control it, you must have the most forces in it, with 1 Fig=1, and 1 non-Turret vehicle=2. A Section is one of the 36x36 plates/areas. There are 9.
You can also find Canisters on the battle field, which give special bonuses.
Finally, there are the Brikonians on the battlefield, who are harmless, according to you scouts, and are the native lifeform. There may be other things showing up, though.
