Magic, you are the Immortals once again.

Fredde, it was good of you to step aside, I salute you. As of the end of this turn YOU will be the DEADLY SPACEMEN. You can watch their first turn unfold here in a while.

Prot-Figs are something I saw Natalya do a post on. The honours are hers.

He rides!

Image

Mortal flames can not harm him.

Image

The fallen landing pads slope provides an excellent ramp.

Image

Image

An undead gets in the way and is torn apart.

Image

Jumping just before the crash Warhead's Hell Bike explodes into the tower in a shower of hellfire that instantly incinerates Baron De'aths horse. The Baron is also caught up in the chain.

Image

Nobody, NOBODY!.. Messes with Mini-Warhead and lives, even the undead.

THE VOL

Image

*PANG!* *PANG!* *PANG!* Frying pans and egg whisks prove of little use against the VOL Commanders armour and they fail again to pull him apart.. However, Leonidus is becoming just a little tetchy...

Image

YAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! FUCK_YOOOOOOOOOOU!!! I think he may be a little upset.

Image

Effective.

Image

Undead Gordon Ramsey unwisely hits Leonidus with a chicken leg...

*Dink!*

Image

Leonidus takes his go. It's only fair.

Image

Ramsey isn't dead yet though.

Image

The two zombie's are quickly dispatched.

Image

The Einherjar easily make their way up and over the X-Wing and crashed Drop Pod.

Image

The others having nothing else to kill and nothing to blow up without killing themselves decided to go looking for trouble. Trouble that is further away from the Peach Pirate Gun Ship than where they were.

Image

Well, it would be foolish not to. New feature. (OneEye's) .50 Cal with rear gunner.

THE DEADLY SPACEMEN

Image

Charge!

Not much else to do, they needed to travel some to get in the game. Red gives two of the Proto-Figs a lift.

THE ARMY OF DARKNESS

Image

Image

The wounded Stalker rattles off some gatling fire at the Super Sandwich Guy Bikers. One goes down, the other crashes when his bike is blown out from under him. He survives though.

Image

A Creeper heads over to the Immortals and gives Volt the good news.

Image

A shot passes through and detonates a grenade on his backpack. This explodes taking Volt down to his last wound. Ouch!

Image

Image

The Undead at the side of the Fort start moving around the wall of fire blocking the breach. Some wait nearby for the flames to die out.

Image

The Magi walks forward and the flames instantly die.

Image

With one kick he boots down the wall. Power On!!! The rubble lands harmlessly at Borstals feet.

Image

Heeeeere's Jonny!!!

Image

Image

The Undeads close in on the Bitches. Three undeads burn while another is response fired to re-death.

Image

Image

The others close in on the Fort.

How many actions do you give a hero per turn?

+++++++Image++++++++

Wait! Something isn't right here... life drain!!!

Image

Ten Undead fall and crumble. Their lives taken to power something, else...

Image

Everyone on the battlefield feels a mounting pressure behind the eyes as Cthulhu gathers his power.

Image

Image

A beam of burning power lances forward flailing at the closest target. Almighty Benny only just blocks it with his shield of Ossum. The attack leaves him drained and weak.

Slowly at first and then with gathering strength an unnatural wind begins to stir. Small bits of debris begin to be sucked along in the airflow, towards the alter.

@ Apollyon: Sometimes if I think the situation warrants and I can see the effect wont impinge on other things going on, then I'll sort out the entire combat in one go. It works well in Forum Battles. They tend to need the Cinematic effects where as in a basic game with in the flesh players you couldn't do this sort of thing. It's all rolled out though so not to much harm.

EDIT: Stats wise the Hero's are all allowed on average a ranged or melee attack action AND a ranged or melee response in the same turn no matter what they've done. The attack or response actions can be multiple but if I do that then they get a -1 per response after the first.

Those outbreaks of outrageous violence are fun of course. I just wondered how sometimes in this game some hereoes do so many things in just one turn. Of course you could just declare a heroic feat for doing all of this in a regular game.

It's a game about fun which is why I like it so much. If I wanted to play by the rules I would have stuck with the more hum-drum table top games.

I laughed when those cute little proto-figs just got hauled off. Reminded me for some sick reason of those downs-syndrome jihadists.
