Very nice peices all over this thing plus the ones i removed will be excellent for the Frigate.
Actually, just looking at the set I could use it straight out of the box for one of my factions...
For the frigate: is it fragile, or almost swooshable? If the second one, how did you get it to that point? I built a ship a while back, which was scrapped during an attempted refit, where I almost got there, but it was annoyingly flimsy. I'd really like to see at least a little bit of how you did yours, cause it looked ossum.

The mods to the Avengers Drop Ship was just cosmetic wing and tail changes. The only major change was moving the thrusters to the wings to make them able to change vectors like an Osprey. The Frigate was unfortunately slightly less then swooshable. The thing was easy to pick up and move from place to place or put on lego stands for balance, but if your not careful with the weight it would collapse on the center. The Orbital Assault Frigate 2 will be way stronger internally and I will use pieces from the Fury to reinforce the central structure.
Construction on the new frigate has begun!

Huzzah! Good luck to you in your endeavour sir! I'm sure you'll be kind and post pics of the work in progress? I'm all for new ships shown here. What are the plans for the upgrade - more room, just a sturdier hull or something else?

I'm planning on making the thing Sturdy enough for brikwar battles, probably the same number of weapons systems maybe more, and better internal furnishing and room.

Can't Wait!
Also, that looks drop ship looks great. I guess I may have to do something like that to get my Air-Force started.
But yeah, did you have to modify it to carry the people, or was there already that much room?

Wow, that's cool. I would buy it now, except I don't want to be a copy cult.

I have the Forward Mast plates aranged the way I want them. She will be striped this time around because stripes are sexy in space. You can also see the forward framework looks like the ribs of Satan himself being Resurrected!

Terrific! Thanks for showing the progress. I can see the technic base of the ship, is it sturdier this time around? How would the frigate look with shorter barrels on the side batteries? Right now the side guns look a bit flimsy compared to the rest, does it look better with shorter and/or wider barrels?

It is extremely sturdy, i'm actually still able to Swoosh it around without anything falling off. I will make a Shooshing video soon. I'm gunna make shorter barrel weapons for the sides and top soon, I'm still trying to figure out the central structure.
