In the thread if possible; that'll make things a lot easier for me (and spectators, I imagine). Secret stuff by PM as usual.

Turns will be handled by teams, so I'll be resolving all the Rainbowists' turns before I take the anti-Rainbowist rebels' orders, and then vice versa.

I've sent PMs to all Rainbowist players with their army details. Let me know if any of you haven't received them.

Alright, so I think the best case scenario is that my dudes just bum-rush the gates now - we are assault after all.

Siege crews should focus on blowing holes in the castle for my ninja crew to exploit. They all run faster than everyone else and have spider gymnastix, so my guys will be ready to pretty much set up ladders and then die. Anyways, try aiming for the weak areas first, like that shit-repair job on the castle wall. Is that a new gate behind the drawbridge? Cute.

I doubt that literally all of my guys will get killed in the initial rush, but it'd be nice if someone could send some forces alongside them to back em up. By rough estimations, I should be able to make it to the base of the drawbridge. I'll be allocating groups to cross the moat both there and the wrecked carriage next turn, but how many go where will depend largely on how well the siege weapons do. I can get most of that way without sprinting, but I want one group with ladders to sprint towards the right side of the drawbridge ramps (or onto the actual drawbridge if they have movement) and the other towards/over the carriage wreck. Everyone else can save response actions for bailing or shooting if enemies get close enough.

Either way, IVasscus is going to use all of his movement this turn and use a heroic feat to do a bunch of sweet flips over the carriage wreckage until he lands behind the cover of the main carriage body. I dunno what you guys want to do, but I'll do what I can to help out.

Dogdu Orders

Dogdu dog troops advance. Royal axemen and spearmen let crossbowmen move past them; axemen and spearmen follow behind crossbowmen. Crossbowmen will prepare response actions to shoot at any enemies coming out of the castle. Cavalry advances and moves to the left flank.

Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

So are the anti-rainbowst armies counted as secret factions?

STALIN ORDERS:

Stalin's going to borrow one of those ballistas(don't worry methhouse, I'll return it). Everyone else moves up along the coast, keeping an eye out for traps/the boats attempting to land troops. Any sneak attacks should fall right into the armored jaws of my dimmy legions.

Send my smallest squad to back IVasscus up. IV, you may need to set up some ladders to help my guys up.

Move one scout up into Dogdu forces
Move one scout up into IV forces
Move one scout up into Stalin forces

Move everyone else forward after all those other units get out of the way.
Slide the arbalest closest to the water, forward but also a bit closer to the water.

Not sure if the catapults need to "set up".
Or if they can move and shoot.
I don't think they are anywhere near 24" from the wall.
Looks like we only have 4 shots.

I couldnt find any rules for what happens to missed launcher shots.

The King will "Inspire" the first friendly attack on the enemy.
Which this round I expect none.

I don't think my ballista crews take orders from non-royalty.

This is a siege, people, not a foot race.

These are magic rainbow-powered catapults. All they need for setup is a payload in the bucket.

Missed shots from Launchers work like any other missed ranged attacks.

We'll see. Remember your job is to prevent VladTron from getting the Grail; how fast he's able to do that will depend on how fast Natalya can get that portal open.

All right! 4/5 teams with orders in on the first day, that was quick. Just waiting for aoffan23 now.

Will do, but I doubt your guys will make it there before mine do, and that'll probably be more useful next turn.

Just for a turn or two.

I don't expect them to, but If they can be up and over the wall as soon as they get there it would be great.

Prevent who from getting the what?

Looks like its going to take 2 to 3 turns just to get the catapults in range of the wall, 24"

In two turns there will be nothing in 12" range anyway.
I am moving them up, no faster or slower than you can.

I don't think anyone wants me charging horse carts into the backs of your guys.
Assuming they even could charge.

I'll probably double or triple the first turn for both teams to get everybody into the action faster.

I hope aoffan shows up soon; I could probably fudge the orders for any of the rest of you, but Rayho's the army with the speed to actually start accomplishing stuff.

I'd suggest you should have back ups/understudys for the players, incase someone goes MIA for a while. I nominate overwatch to be my understudy.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.
