It is still MY concept tank. If you guys any interesting ideas for a hover tank, post them. I plan to pull a RoC and make this capable of hauling a squad of Soldado while lay the smack down on Emeria's foes.

No, it's not, Vami. That's your inspiration for you Hover Tank. But enough of that.

Anyways, how about the GDI's AA tank or the Shatterer?

Must...Resist urge...to correct BFenix. Must...rein in....C&C fanboyism. Must...not... let AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH I CAN"T DO IT!

First off, it's called the Hover MLRS, not the AA Tank.
Secondly, it's an artillery unit, not a tank.

For your fact-checking convenience.

Ok, now that that's out the way, the vehicle concept Vami is going for sounds less like a hover-tank and more like a hover-IFV, so I'd suggest looking for images in that vein (unless you actually do want to build a flying merkava). The actual design concept also seems a little suspect. I've noticed that while building a combined tank and IFV sounds like a good idea, in practice they tend to be difficult to use, since its always trying to do two things at once (not to mention being a massive fire magnet).

Oh. My bad then, I never played the older C&Cs from the Tiberium universe. Just Tiberium Wars and a mod for Generals where that tank plays an AA role.

I'm now picturing the Emerians as the Tau. With a shitload of Drones as fire support and mobile shield projectors.

Me gusta, Vami.

Fooled you!

Now, I don't have the pieces to make the dakka on the LDD model (which I originally built to showcase the full Dakka power), but this is the IRL. :?

Welcome, Major Romano. I have been expecting you. Please remember that this discussion will be deleted as soon as it concludes.

MAJOR ROMANO: Hmm, thanks. I guess--
BRIGGS: You're late.
MAJOR ROMANO: Fuck you, there's only so much spare time I have when Voynich isn't around. I'm guessing you contacted me for a perfectly valid reason?
BRIGGS: How very eloquent. And yes, I assure you, this is, indeed, "perfectly valid." Or did you not want those new hovering gunships you're so fond of?
MAJOR ROMANO: Ah, finally. Yes, I would love to have a look-see at what you have for me, should you have any images for--
BRIGGS: Why would I waste my precious time here with you WITHOUT something to gloat about? Have a look.
Image
MAJOR ROMANO: Ahah! Very nice. Which branch of your incredulously large company due I owe my thanks to this time?
BRIGGS: Yes, I thought you would like it.
MAJOR ROMANO: Indeed. You have my gratitude. Now, which branch?
BRIGGS: If you must know, it was the Venetian branch of my magnificent, multinational outfit that came up with the model you see here. They had exactly that sleek look you wanted, what with the police shit and all. It'll be seeing service in our little backwater and Venice.
MAJOR ROMANO: Fine. At least this'll give us more leverage in the air. Got anything else for me?
BRIGGS: Oh yes, my Emerian friend. Look, and marvel at your new gunship.

MAJOR ROMANO: While I absolutely love the idea of this, I would have liked better quality image--
BRIGGS: Look, did you want to see this thing or not?
MAJOR ROMANO: Err, my apologies. When can I expect to see the first shipment?
BRIGGS: Soon. Given that brilliant Slipspace tek of yours, I'd say about a week. Good doing business with you.

Also, expect the tank soon.

Also, tank update.

Yes, that is my knee in the bottom photo. My Lego working area is kinda small.
The top bit is going to be redesigned some to allow further work.

So far, the tank can fit a squad of nine (or 10, if you REALLY need to get your handy-dandy Soldado to a battlefield)

Also, if I could get some feedback on my newest stuff, that'd be great  8)

EDIT
Image
I will make a turret happen. I promise you guys this, even if means completely throwing my color scheme out of the window.

I'd say that you probably want more greebles on the tank - including the top of the turret design you have, and the side skirts give it a bit of a wierd shape. Don't worry about it though, as soon as you grow leg hair, you'll find that you're a better builder overnight.

Also; I just noticed the gun barrel on the tank, unless you want a my floppy penis cannon, a dome piece on the end isn't the way to go.

Agreed. I'm now designing an entirely new turret inspired by the ancient Tigershark (rolls in memories).

OK. Colette got pissed that I knew nothing about the infamous Spanish dictator Francisco Franco (this has been mended. Interesting read), and dropped a whole bunch of reading material and food for thought (the one thing Colette is actually useful for as a human being for).

He has no inclination as to the cycle of change he has started.

My read on Franco has opened me up to a few major, Spanish Military items:

CONDOR LEGION
Historically, they were the aid that Piltogg Germany sent to the Nationalist Party of Spain during the Spanish Civil War.

For Emeria, they are the magically-gifted Bavarians that Emeria has captured and have indoctrinated into Emeria's Dice Papacy and Military.
THE SPANISH REGULARES
The Colonial armies of the Spanish Empire. The most notable of the Regulares were the Moroccan Regulares due to their service to Francisco Franco before and during the Spanish Civil War, when his military career was just beginning.

These will the Homeguard of the Emerian Empire, and service as the primary force of Emeria's law in it's Commonwealths
SPANISH (FOREIGN) LEGION
A still operating unit, these are an old and very elite unit of the modern Spanish military. These guys are some of the best Spain has to offer.

These may eclipse the Respentaz as that is a stupid name from my previous empire from my days in Alaska.

THE HUMBLE BUT AWESOME TERCIO
The Tercio.
One of, if not the most important military unit(s) in Spanish history, they served Spain until the end of the Renaissance and were the best unit in that entire time period.

Developed and first deployed by Spanish tacticians, they lost their first battle, but were entirely remastered by the Dutch. It took Dutch engineering and and a few years of adapting, and the Tercio carried Spain to dominance in Europe (and then downfall at French hands). I'm going to rework the Legion guys into the Tercio, you'll see
