Britannia's newest starfighter, the Meteor, replaces the Spitfire as their air and space superiority fighter.

The large wings make it highly maneuverable in atmosphere, and give the vectored engines more leverage to turn the ship quickly in space.

The Meteor retains the Spitfire's armament of six light beam guns. While useless at long range or against heavily shielded targets, it can make mincemeat of enemy fighters up close.

The angled vector plates are a pain. Each of them is on two different hinges, neither of which has any mechanism to keep them in one place.

For what was supposed to be just a quick build, I'm really happy with how this turned out. I'd like to move away from the super-realistic style I used with the T.L.A. and do more retro sci-fi stuff.
