Nice design, but it really should be smaller. The main compartment should house like a torso(no arms) & a head. Arn't the Dreadnaughts suppose to be mobile Sarcophaguses for Space Marines who can no longer move on thier own? (Can anyone back me on this, I'm not to up on my WH40K)

It's hard to dispute that it strongly resembles a modern 40k Dreadnaught after all. I reckon a bit more shoulder joint articulation (or space between upper arm and torso) and a more exciting secondary colour (neon transparent green?) would result in an extremely respectable piece.

On a secondary note: chaps - are you any better by taking our lad out the back of the woodshed and repeatedly beating him with a 2x4? Lead by example, or at least with lols.
CONGRATULATIONS - you just WON The Game FOREVER. Or you can carry on being a humourless nugget - your call.

Is it nice? Yes. But you have to admit the construction is rather basic and the joints are juniorized.

Funky Weasel: I've only been back for several days now, but I know that everything else we've tried hasn't worked. I figure 'fight fire with fire' is the best way to go.

I think just about everyone here who plays or has heard of WH40K is going to build a dreadnought, trying to top eachother with the coolest design. None of us are going to be able to compare to http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/44790 though.

The legs are going to be the biggest problem with any of them, because they are a pain in the arse to make sturdy and good looking!

That one that you linked does not hold any one inside it so you can't compare it but i'd love to see any one here build a better one ten mine even if no ones does it will get all you guys doing something and we might get some cool ideas

Being minifig scale doesn't automatically make a model better. Personally, I don't even think you should really worry about the Dreadnought pilot, as they're usually near-dead cripples, anyways.

Yea, there was no way to get them out in any Warhammer game, why bother with the MOC. Especially if you want it to scale.

I bet in the Warhammer universe the pilots are welded in anyway.

well i am sure i am wrong about every 40k thing there is but don't care all i wanted was to see some people build some dreadnoughts so if you can build one do it not then don't you can keep posting how my dreadnoughts legs are to big and how this or that is not just like a 40k dreadnought because until you build a better one you are being just like i was about Tiny tanks

I say we make a thread that is devoted to posting dreadnoughts that this forum has actually made. Really, this place is getting clogged with dread threads as much as General Discussion is clogged with Twilight fangirl threads.

No problem, although is there really anything else 40k that is worth posting?
