The H.A.G. boasts a single massive gun barrel, capable of sending projectiles fast enough to punch through even the thickest of armor. It's own defenses are top-notch: the frontal armor is thick enough to withstand direct hits, yet angled to allow enemy shots to harmlessly bounce off the edges. In addition, side-skirt armor covers the majority of the treads. Even the rear armor is well protected, with the only exposed elements being a single turbine exhaust engine.

Maintenance is also a breeze with the H.A.G. In the rare situation that there is engine or computer trouble, the entire top chassis folds away to allow mechanics easy access to the engine for tune-ups. The state-of-the-art droid brain inside uses several conventional and unconventional scanning devices to pinpoint targets with deadly accuracy.

The H.A.G. is also build upon a modular drive chassis and engine assembly that is easily removable and converted into nearly any other land-based function. It's turning speed is high enough that the H.A.G. does not require a turret rotation assembly to be effective, however it is still recommended that the H.A.G. be sent in as a support unit, and not as a stand-alone assault vehicle. Due to this, the H.A.G. is best suited for ambush operations, where it can wait for enemy tanks to turn their backs on them until it's too late.
