Yes, I do build stuff

Many years ago I was really into collecting the SW Starfighter models, and also built one of my own. Some time ago I started working on this fighter again, giving it generators, engines, adding some guns, switching some colours and trying to make it look more sleek.
This is the best I could do, dunno if it's good.
It's armed with double twin laser cannons.
The original plan was for it to be a starfighter for my Sith. Now it's just a model that probably won't see too much action since 99 percent of my guys are medieval, but it's still better than nothing.
Engines blazin'.
I made it so you can use firepieces to indicate which part of the fighter's been hit rather than tear pieces off. The thing I like about this little creation is that it doesn't have pieces that fall off constantly or break very easily.
Lightly armed you say? Well yes but it's got a more or less hidden torpedo launcher for use against heavy targets.

Looks fast and manoeuvrable. I like the damage idea but if it were mine I would festoon it with guns, but I'm sort of insane that way.

That's actually quite a lot of firepower, considering that SW guns are Size 3 or so.
It looks pretty cool, the one thing I would do is replace those sloped pieces sticking out either side with plates. Nice work.

I think he means the two pieces stuck on the front cannons.

Sheer proof that just because megablocks work like crap with other megabloks, they still work pretty well with legos. Just don't let those 2 peices touch, unless you have metric tons of glue.

I beg to differ on all accounts!
My megabloks stick togethor extremely well, equivalent to my lego's.
My only complaint on Megablocks is that their cylindars (not too sure on the spelling, and not too interested in trying to get it correct, but interested enough in wasting my time typing this) and their studs are terrible. AND, their colors tend to be pretty ugly compared to the shine and sheen of lego. Ever held Megablok black up to a Lego black? Yea, not pretty.
But, their weapons are awesome, and my Lego/Megablok Bipedal Mech (It's somewhere in the Brick section) is an awesome avatar of the wonderous properties of hybridization.
But, uhh....sometimes..hybridization does suck. Because I KNOW one of you is gonna put a post of two things stuck togethor that looks realllllly ugly, or mabye that little animated gif fo Stewie from Family Guy running out and he's half Rupert.
But, in the LEGO world, Hybridization is awesome.
And on a side note: Who said Knights can't have Air Support? Freaking Jesus had an M60, why can't Lancelot have Close Air Support?

I'm going to have to say pics or it didn't happen. I've never built anything from MB that didn't pop back apart under its own internal inconsistencies within a couple of hours. I think it has something to do with overnight temperature shifts.

Back before I put my few Megablox bricks away somewhere I will never even have to look at them, I found out they would just not stick together or they would go together and never come apart ever again.

Pressing 1x1 studs into the middle of a 4x2 piece when you're building square shields is also a bitch. Luckily I found out I was overproducing and didn't even need the megablox ones.
I only ever somehow accidentally bought 1 megablox set before I was even aware of a clone brand's existence and it'll be the last.
