Re: The Encyclopedia Medivo
The norsemen lack something. Maybe shields?
The berzerker could use a bigger weapon. A simple thing would be to attach a axe blade to the axe he is carrying to make a nice battleaxe.
The marauder knights are awesome!

How about a bigass warhammer/club? Overall great job on both the knights and norsemen. The berserker is a great addition, and one that I feel is necessary in any viking army.Killer Karetsu wrote:The norsemen lack something. Maybe shields?

Say Zahru, is the Rot Walker inspired by the Warcraft Ashbringer comic? I just read it and there was a very similarly armed abomination in it.

Boy, it's been a while since that! Idunno, probably it was the old Naxxramas guys that got me inspired:
edit: btw, did you find that series fucking boring as I did? I'm biased though because the whole somber paladin knight faggetry is not my thing.

Re: The Encyclopedia Medivo
Yeah, that guy does appear in the comic. I don't play WoW but I guess I should've figured they would also put the creatures on the maps, lol.
I liked it (but maybe I'm biased as well because I'm a huge fan of the lore, lol...), but I think it went too fast, time seemed to fly past without much mention of what was happening in between, it was rushed and didn't allow for much character development, you really had to keep an eye on things like who is who and some characters I was keen on seeing only got a few lines because of the rushedness.
I like both Horde and Alliance almost equally, the only ones I hate and think are uninteresting are those cursed undead and the never-ending always-returning Dreadlords because I think Lordaeron was much cooler before it became Zombiefest Number 14574874 (seriously, Zombies are even more common in nowadays fiction than Vampires, and that's saying something!), but yeah I do like seeing more controversial main characters than Paladins. Still, the series shows even the Paladins are humans who have their flaws so that kinda drowns it out imo.
Therefore I'm also very interested in all groups willing to destroy the Undead, mostly I was hoping for more Scarlet Crusade / Abbendis action, and was somewhat dissapointed with their lack of action (especially since it seems we won't be seeing much more of them... ), but it was still a good read imo.

Yeah, Scarlet Crusade was played for laughs... I mean the whole 'we were puppets of Balnazzar all along!' was kinda nice, but I called bullshit on the 'the Northrend troops were played for fools by Malganis!' shtick (then again, part of the WotLK storyline, which sucked hard). They really don't show actual competence and pose as a threat nowadays.

Balnazzar and Mal'Ganis... killing those guys was a real pain in the ass and then they just bring 'em back, lol. The Warcraft writers are kinda trolls like that.

Just don't give them to Metzen, he'd probably have Thrall smite both with the Doomhammer out of existence.

By the way, if you're looking to build more rot walker-type stuff, I think I have the perfect set for you.
