It was a fair point, and one I'd already considered when agonising over the stats. The Necromancer control thing is still fairly loose so I hope to tighten that up somewhat before this can be considered done. Long way to go yet.

The more this army comes together the better it looks.

I think the Necromancer and the Wight Bodyguard looks great.

The Death Knights on their undead horses look wonderful.

The Plague Rats, good use of the rats.

The Screaming Phantoms, I vote make them White. Gives them a different look. The black ones look too close to the wights IMO.

Yup, I concur with those who posted that opinion of the Phantoms, white it is.

I think that the general +1 vs arrows is quite flavorful and makes the army distinct especially compared to a living army.

I'm generally hesitant to give elite units more than 1d6+1 skill, but if the proximity and "control" of a necromancer factors into those skill ratings, it seems to make sense.

Perhaps add some sort of recurring damage to the *plague ability to help differentiate it from the *barrow curse? Just an idea.

Thanks, The +1 vs. arrow thing is something I used what others here have used. I think F!SH and Brag maybe, not sure about Zahru, don't think so. I think it originates from some PC games. Warlords III I think.

The living Elites will also be graded in the same fashion so you can expect to see some mirroring on the good guys side too.

Mine was with the Trollz, were they have a -1 to their armour from ranged attacks. I wish I could acutally remenber why I did this but, hey, it's cool.

Yup, otherwise what's the point if there's no one to fight..? Tea Parties of the Damned? Briksocialising? Not the same.

Ok while I am so glad to hear that, I must admit to a strange fascination with the idea of a Tea Party of the Damned. Kind of sounds like a real wild rave. :lol:

Wow! absolutely amazing. It's much more fun seeing themed armies built up from all manner of LEGO bits and pieces; - Warhammer was all very well, but painting the same old plastic and metal figures as everybody else got to be boring after a while.
