i took a lot of inspiration from the PARV. that is why i am putting a garage/cargo bay in the back. but i am going for an epic sized battle tank really.

i was planning on something similar though, but it will be a while until i can start that idea.

also, from reading about the PARV, it took months to build and a lot more bricks than i have available. i could build something that size, but it would be super rainbow colored and wouldnt look like much.

so you're making a sandcrawler that can destroy moderate sized planets. awsome points gained: 11.
I warned you about blast doors, bro.

No. It's not a problem, just was odd--all of the sudden everyone looking at PARV. Feel free to share!

Yes, I was at that game. I was famously, the one that kept trying to leave because my wife was calling me home. Seriously disrupting the endgame. It ended up being one of the funnest BW games we have played.

Does NELUG still do Battle Reports? The ones I've looked at (PARV Pictures, Weird War I, Trogdor!) have all been some of the best I've ever seen here.

Yea. Sometimes. When we play. We seem to be going through a no BW funk at the moment. We're going to have to rectify that, soon.

We try to write up all our events, but sometimes the people who are best at writing them up (not me) get a little burnt out. I think that is the case with our core BW group right now. I expect it will come back in force, eventually.

well then, sounds like you need to light a fire under someone's ass and get to battling.

also, we need to meet up sometime and abduct your crew and have a huge battle, i think.

Yes, i know it has been over a year since i updated this, but i have been stupid amounts of busy lately with work and other hobbies, but i have been working on designs for the tank. some of the designs are actually together, some are still on the drawing board. i have converted part to LDD in the last few days. still playing with a few ideas and amassing parts to get everything together.

needless to say, here is a bit of a teaser, just an incomplete shot of the chassis to show the suspension and whatnot.

don't worry about the lack of treads, for some reason, LDD will not let me attach the treads to the wheels....

if i can get some more free time in the next few weeks, i can most likely get everything wrapped up and have this complete. maybe

How wide is this? From this point of view it looks too long.

the hull is two base plates long and one wide. then it is built out from there.

i am hoping to have something new to add by tomorrow night. real progress is going slow. the digital version is looking a lot better at the moment, lol. in part, i blame borderlands 2....

I've been around, just havent had much to post in a while.

I've seen that tank, it is a beast. mine will be a monster ;)

i made considerable progress over the weekend on mine, especially since i started from scratch, again. the chassis i had built a while back was a good start, but i changed a few things in the design, causing me to have to take it all the way down to the base plates. i actualy tried out a few more ideas and added to it as i went along.

i took a few pics of it last night, as soon as i can get them uploaded, i will get them posted here. i might be able to get it done at lunch today, maybe...
