Crimson Glory stats (Updated)

Post by Bragallot » Sat Jun 18, 2011 4:24 pm

As you guessed I'm posting all these faction's stats for ease. This will become a thread for all of Kerrat's knightly orders in due time because they're only small factions and I could fit them all in here.

Image

The Crimson Glory are shrouded in mystery and above all the most feared of all the knightly orders, even amongst the populace of Kerrat itself.

Faction Power:
Feared: regular units (with 1d6 skill) suffer a -1 skill mod when in cc with any unit of the Crimson Glory.

Hilter

The current head of the family.

Image

Hilter Mo: 7” Sk: 2d6 Ar: 7 Heroic feat: Hitlerr-inspired parody-feats, most likely 2 HP

- Axe UR: 3 Da: 1d6+2 Effective against armour (+1).

Black Knights

The knights of the Crimson Glory are rarely seen outside their home grounds, but their power in battle is legendary.

Image

Mo: 4" Sk: 1d6 Ar: 6 Bloody: May attack one more time if they kill something. Enemies can only parry their extra attack.

- Shortswords UR: 2 DMG: 1d6+1
- Shields UR: 2 'DMG': 1d6

Image

Horses Mo: 10" Ar: 1d6 2 HP

- Lances UR: 4 DMG: 2d6

Dark Wizards (need wings)

The Crimson Glory prefers to field these highly skilled men over bow-armed peasantry to pelt enemies with magic projectiles from the skies.

Image

Mo: 6" Sk: 1d6+1 Ar: 4 May fly

- Star wands Ra: 10” UR: 4 Da: 1d6+2 Effective against armour +1 Used as shields against ranged.

Iron Grannies

Elite infantry made up out of crazy female family members, usually the first to plow into enemy ranks and the last to stop hunting enemies that flee in vain.

Image

Mo: 7" Sk: 1d6+1 Ar: 5 Bloody: May attack one more time if they kill something. Enemies can only parry their extra attack.

- Broadswords UR: 2 DMG: 1d6+2

Cassandra

Xalen's successor, a warrior mage with a terrible reputation and the current leader of the army (not a family member).

Image

Cassandra Mo: 7” Sk: 2d6+1 Ar: 6 Heroic feat: Dark magic 3 HP

Armoured Horse Mo: 9" Ar: 1d6+2 2 HP

- Bat scepter Ra: 15” UR: 4 Da: 1d6+1 Effective against armour (+1)
---------------UR: 4 Da: 2d6 (in cc)

I love the magi instead of archers, it really gives this army a character, and takes it away from the regular stuff. good job!

I would have said yes to the :warhead: but the one toothed look makes these less maidens as more Iron Grannies. :)

Maybe there could be some Iron Maidens as well, who are led by the more experienced Iron Grannies. :warhead:

I really like the dark look. Nice idea with magicians instead of archers.

So after the Siege of Starkeep, it became painfully clear they just weren't a very effective force, so I made some changes to them.

Image

Here we see the company Cassandra has taken to punish those who ambushed their supply lines in it's totality...

Image

Bat Lords, nobles of House Crimson, replace the Iron Grannies as shock troops. They are frightening because they are not only superb fighters (hero stats) but can also leap over obstacles and battle lines for short distances with ease. Archers shit themselves when these guys come in sight.

Image

Sorcerous knights replace the dark wizards. Basically heavy short-ranged infantry. They can no longer fly, but can take some damage and do at least something in melee.

Image

The Iron Grannies persist, but are now more lightly armed and can cast spells.

Image

Knights have remained the same, only now there are fewer and all of them are mounted.

Image

And these guys are my new favourites: fire lancers. Highly skilled medium cavalry.

Image

... who can summon fireswords for a prolonged melee.

Image

Lord Goeting has also joined the expedition to rid himself of Junatan's complaints and get away from the tedious training grounds his men have been committed to. He's a masterful horse- and swordsman and also a charismatic leader.

Bat lords! Yeah!
Those sorcerer-wizards are very cool, as well as the fire lancers.
