The NAC is back with Libyan tank engineering!

Post by BrikSaber » Mon Nov 07, 2011 9:21 pm

Well, I've been on a very, very (many months) long building and posting hiatus thanks to minecraft... That game is so... goddamn.... addictive... :why:
Anyway, I'm getting back into building. After about an hours' worth of work, combining the NACL walker and an NAc fighter drone, I came up with a small hover tankette-
INTRODUCING- The Libyan Heavy HoverTankette (LHHT)

The LHHT is known as a heavy tankette due to its large amount of heavy weaponry for its size, as well as thick, virtually impenetrable armor. The LHHT features armor piercing, anti-aircraft, and anti-infantry capabilities, making it the tank of choice for many NAC military missions.

Here, we can see the two heavy armor piercing laser cannons on the sides, as well as the large pivoting artillery cannon located on the top. Barely visible are the double flamers and machine guns, capable of grinding through infantry.

A shot of the main cannon's maneuverability.

As we can see, the tank's heavy lasers can kill infantry with no hassle. If this infantryman was a hardsuit, small attack vehicle, or APC, he'd still be lying dead on the ground.

Of course, why would you waste heavy weapons on measly footmen? Such a job is better suited to the flamers, capable of reducing a minifigure into a pile of ashes.

Having shot down a small snow trooper surveillance craft, the LHHT rolls out to burn and pillage some more!

All in all, the LHHT is one of my favorite designs. Not much compared to the work of other forum members, but hell, it's good enough for me.
So, what do you think? Please comment- feedback is appreciated.
