I've been busy this past week.
Since the Kuragin forces had no fast attack craft of their own, I decided to create a jaguar armored car for them, Kuragin code-name "Initiate". I have yet to add the ramming grille, mainly due to a shortage of parts. This also explains the relative lack of Kuragin green and brown on the vehicle's front.
Another shot, showing off the rocket pods.
As the Calvarians had no dropship of their own, I decided to make one. So, here is the new Spectre-class dropship, a lightweight and versatile dropship used for rapid insertion/extraction manuevers . I still need to add a lot of weapons; so far its only armament are a pair of machine guns.
Unlike the Archangel, the Spectre has two exit hatches on each side of the craft. However they can only be opened when in landing mode, when the main engines are raised. Because of this, I've considered making just one exit hatch in the back (like on the Archangel). Still, this is rather advantagous as it allows the troops inside to have two exit points instead of just one, making it harder for enemy troops to target them as they exit the craft.
Tell me what you guys think.

Re: Two new vehicles
Is there any hope of making that back hatch large enough to park a jaguar in there?
As for armament, you can fit rotating turrets underneath those black slopey bits by the cockpit. You could also potentially have mountable turrets on the front side of the landing skids, a tailgun (if you don't make a rear hatch), or even toss something up on that roof. Of course, never underestimate the strategy of opening the side-hatch and having your armed dropcrew firing out the sides. One of my favorite features for dropships is to add lots and lots of handles for minifigs to grip onto with one hand, and wildly swing a halberd with the other.

Re: Two new vehicles
On the Archangel? More than likely. The exit space is six studs wide, which could probably fit the jaguar just barely. It also has a high ceiling inside the craft. It was so high in fact, that I had to but a 2 x 6 brick on the top just so the exit hatch would line up with the inside of the craft. Removing that brick and making the exit a little wider would probably allow the jaguar to fit inside. Is there any hope of making that back hatch large enough to park a jaguar in there?

Re: Two new vehicles
Jaguars are 8 wide because of the wheels and rocket pods.

Oh right. Well I guess I could widen the exit hatch a little bit anyhow...Jaguars are 8 wide because of the wheels and rocket pods.

Nice turret. Also, the Spectre is sexy.

Thanks. I'm quite fond of it myself; I may even go back and re-do the Calvarian Raider just to match it.

Huh? The Hog looks nothing like a Humvee! I always figured it was some sorta Maguyvered technical that was put together from AA guns and pickup trucks, used because the UNSC couldn't throw together enough ground attack stuff fast enough to protect against the Covenant's far superior plantery assault forces.
