That's pretty sweet man. I love the lines and angles.
Does it have a cockpit or anything inside?
You mentioned its still a work in progress.... might I suggest... more dakka? Something that can aim lower to hit anything that gets up close. The main gun is great for ranged attacks but what if something low profile gets up close? Or some infantry close in? Just a thought.

Due to the design it doesn't fit any minifigs or a cockpit, normally I wouldn't build something like that, but I wanted it to remain as close to minifig scale on the outside as possible. As for enemies coming up close, the BTR 80 functions as an armored troop carrier, so it can easily deploy a squad of men to engage in small arms fire if that happened

To Be honest I think It looks more like a BTR-90.
I kind of stopped doing the whole modern warfare thing a long time ago because With anything, I'd get frustrated trying to build a replica, and end up making something entirley different and equally satisfying.
Perfect Example is my Predator tank, it was supposed to look like a Challenger 2 but looks nothing of the sort.
