The Undying Tek

I had the coolest idea the other day while I was perusing my multiple lego boxes. I noticed how much I used the fluorescent green-and-black color scheme. This reminded me of Warhammer 40K's Necrons ( yes, they're undead robots, I know. Fits Brikwars perfectly, doesn't it?). So, why not base a Brikwars army off of it? I'm currently working on pictures (better quality than the last ones, I promise) showing off my new Undying Tek Factory Base and the hero of this army, The Almighty Tekmage. Also, stats and stat cards will be coming along. I really want to base a campaign around it too, but considering my group wouldn't take too kindly to adding story to carnage...

Hmm... fluorescent green and black like 8104 Shadow Crawler? That would look absolutely sweet. I can't wait to see pictures.

My insectoids use the same scheme, think it was a bit of a phase around ten years ago.

I use them at Tek level 7 I think it is (the highest one)

They are cooler if you give them personal shields and teleporters

sounds like a good idea and those necron guns could actualy work using lightsaber blades

Yes. I can have pictures of my hero and his Factory Base up in about ten minutes; I need to use my other computer considering this one doesn't have a printer. Oh, and directions for my hero's Plasma Scythe weapon. I'll have stats within the next hour or so as well. The stat card... may take me a while, even with Macromedia Fireworks...

Alright, here's what I have of my Undying Tek army so far. We have our Undying Factory Base/Outpost:

We have a couple of other shots of that same Outpost:

Then we have... THE TEKMAGE! Bum bum BUUUM! Here he is mounted...

Image

And unmounted.

Image

And here we have instructions for The Tekmage's Plasma Scythe. First, take one of those butcher swords and attach it to the handle of a blaster piece. Next, put a flourescent green antenna onto the top of the blaster piece. Very good!

Image

Now, put that off to the side for a minute while we make the bottoma piece. Take a 1x2 cone piece, attach it to a green tooth, and then put a black stud on top of all that.

Image

Next, attach a lightsaber blade handle to the bottom of the black stud, like so.

Image

Finally, attach the bottom half to the top half, and there you go! A ready-to-slice Plasma Scythe!

Also, here's a picture of my new work space that I set aside in my room...

And also my insanely crappy light source for this whole thing...

And there you have it. What do you guys think so far?

Exceptional. I love how the base has all those spiky bits and the mage thing is pretty cool. Do you have any black skeletons though? I think they would look much better compared to the white ones.

I do not, but I know how to get some. I would need money. I actually did all of my chores this week, so I should be getting somewhere in the neighborhood of $15.00 today. I'm going to buy the Skeleton Prison Carriage thing, which has a black skeleton driver, and then the final joust box set, which comes with a black skeletal horse (and extra weapons!)

Ok, from the depths of Macromedia Fireworks, I bring you...

My Crappily Assembled Tekmage Stat Card!

I haven't figured out exactly how many points it is (beyond 11, of course), I'm too tired for number crunching. Unfortunately, I'm also too tired to go get a Red Bull out of the fridge, so y'all are out of luck.

I'm hoping to have a good BrikWar soon. I'm going to be ordering a bunch of minifigs of the BrickLink today!

I'm desperately trying to organize one with my group, because we haven't played in the last year and a half. It's the longest case of Brikwars withdrawal I've ever seen, and it's driving me slowly mad! Unfortunately, they're being very uncooperative.
