Using a borrowed camera...

Image

These guys have had a bit of an overhaul since they got slaughtered in Killing Time.

Image

The All-Rounders didn't get to shine but are still there because they are awesome (and expensive...), the heavies are now Rogues (less armour, more skill), and they have snipers.

Image

The Guardsmen are essentially the Britannian equivalent of Jaegers. Sir Rolys the Dashing returns to command, and next to him is Lieutenant Francis of Bragsey.

Image

The most important addition, however, is this gatling walker.

Image

Brittanians are behind on the latest mechnology, but that doesn't mean the adjustable steam gatling no longer packs a punch.

Image

It's quite fast, devastating against infantry and useful against light armour, if not very durable.

Image

The pilot is quite well-protected, he just has to make sure no one gets behind him.

Image

I had little to base myself off because the amount of Brittanian MOCs has been rather low since they emerged, but I think this thing fits them pretty well. I'm happy I finally built them something because having a MOC, even a simple one, immediately makes even a cameo faction over 9000 times cooler imo.

That mecha is pretty cool eventhough it has chicken legs.

Nothing like a good asskicking to make you realize you need rethink some things.

Yeah... It probably didn't help that fire from the tank sniper took out some of their best units early, that their hero fell immediately to an OTC-wielding Cyborg who averaged 20 damage for the entire fight and were ambushed and overrun by a crapton of Ripperbots but still, I wasn't happy with their performance... The Guardsmen are almost definitely an improvement to the cheap blue berets and the main hero should also be better now. The Crusaders still did awesome so maybe I shouldn't have scrapped those but eh.

Ouch I'm glad I wasn't on the receiving end to that snuggle. Did you get to do anything that game? Sounds like you just got outright slaughtered. Piss someone off much ?lol.

Actually it was mostly my faction that was killing them, lol. You can read the battle report here: http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopi ... =20&t=9281

I like the mech and the dudes with cricket bats. The mech should have no armor on its back to discourage retreating.

Also, I really like making some kind of vehicle for each cameo faction I make, no matter how small just to make them more than some dudes with rifles.

Wow, excellent Britannians. Your Albion corps are a bit futuristic for my taste but that mech takes the cake.

Isn't that what the white and blue guys are called?

I'm also a fan of that walker. I'm somewhat partial to chicken-legs though, even if they are terribly unstable.

Thanks, the walker is luckily pretty stable: he's not too big so the legs aren't under a lot of pressure.

I like the walker's cockpit arrangement- the "canopy" piece etc, I mean.

The fuck kind of myth is that? Chicken legs rule! I guess the maximum weight load is kinda low compared to more stable leg designs, but chicken legs hold themselves up without much effort.

It's almost inevitable not comparing it to the Sentinel, but since when is that a bad thing? :)
