Meet Robinson. Robinson is a Villager. He got stranded in a hostile desert. There are no houses to shelter him from sun. Or from the monsters that come out at night.
Because I am a nice guy, I made him small hutts out of leaves and wood. I even planted a tree to provide some shadow.
Robinson says: "Thank you", but now, Robinson gets hungry and thirsty and there is no food or water in the desert (he can't dringk the salty sea water). He says he needs a field to grow wheat and a well to get water.
So let's help Robinson become happy. Let's build a field where he can grow wheat, a well to get some water, a shack where he can store his belongings, a mine where he can gather rare ores, a tower so he can watch out for the undead, more houses, so he can invite frieds, a meadow where his cattle can stay (once he has tamed it), a butchers workshop, where he can slaughter his beloved pets, a doomsday device so he can take his former friends down to hell because they didn't come to visite....
Edit: Ok, seriously, there seems to be a glitch in world gen. See the super straight shore line? I suppose his village was meant to be on the other side of it. There where the water is now. So he is stranded in a figure of speach. He and his Iron Golem. (I call it Freitag).
I thought maybe we can build him a village. Then more Villagers will spawn. Then we can "persuade" them to move to other houses and populate the villages and temples we have already built, like Derreveriananana... Oh, I'll never learn that name.
I heard in 1.3 there you can trade with them. So they might be good neighbours to have around.
