Is anyone else going to be posting in this thread? It'd be really handy for everyone to know where on another's houses are (or at least what they look like).

My house is the one with the darden on top. No stealing, whoever stole my garden a few days ago.

WATCHING

Anyway, as soon as I get the server to work for me, I will either build something somewhere.

Until then, I will either sleep in holes, or ask for lodging.

I built a nether portal in my blaze farm and it turns out it links to the portal in the main castle. So... happy birthday everyone, you now have a free blaze farm.

Operating instructions are simple. Walk up into the Blaze Angering Room to get their attention, lure them down into the smasher bay, pull the lever, and smash!

It takes 20 "hits" from suffocation to kill them. If you whack each one once with a sword at about hit 16 or so, you can collect XP very quickly. Blaze rods and stuff auto-collect in the chest there, but the main thing is that this is a super-fast XP farm.

I got knocked into the lava so many times while building that thing, so annoying. Luckily I made sure to bring a near-limitless supply of fire resistance potions, so it never killed me. I can start stocking them into the nether chest there if anyone else needs them.

Good news, everyone. I've located the End Fortress and it's at the intersection of a major mineshaft + fortress + cavern system. So, unlimited Cracked / Mossy Stone Blocks, Iron Bars, etc. for anyone who's interested in that kind of stuff.

Thinking about building a township right next to the fort and Cock Mountain.

That, or venturing far from the Spawn and creating for myself the mighty mountain fortress of Nederheim. Or just rebuild the already existing fort.

Question particularly for Stubby, is there by any chance a safe route made between the various nether portals?

Between the ones I've found so far, yes. But I don't know how I'd explain how to find them easily if you don't know where they are already.

There's a lava sea between my main portal and the spawn portal, so I dug a safe tunnel under the lava to connect them (once I secured an unlimited supply of Extended Potions of Fire Resistance first, obviously). There's another safe tunnel and bridge between my main portal and the portal at the Blaze harvester in the fortress, which I think you can see from the spawn portal.

Maybe I'll go back in to the Nether today and build a bridge from the nether fortress to the spawn portal, and then it'll be easy to get around.

All right. If you go into the nether now, you should see some very pretty stone block and glass walkways between the portals (at least the ones I know about), and also the nether fortress and the blaze harvester / XP farm.

Okay, I have hewn Brikville from the area around Cock Mountain. If you know where Cock Mountain is, I'm right next to that.

I fucking love what we did to the place. Ironically, it looks so much better in the default resource pack.

At any rate, it looks dark and foreboding as fuck, just as we were hoping.
