Vami's Hexxit Proof-Of-Concept

Postby Vami IV » Sat Apr 12, 2014 11:24 pm

Hello. You already know (and some dislike) me. Some know me as a dedicated builder attempting to master the nerdy (and some would think waste of time) art of bending the blocks of Minecraft to my will in the age-old skill of construction and architecture. But you (some of you, at least), are wondering, "Why Hexxit? Isn't that part of Tekkit? Why not on Minecraft?"
1). Simply put, the world seed. I'm pretty sure it can only be generated on a Hexxit world (It was the way I got it, and not one off the web) b/c of the Autumn forest on my hill (I kinda miss those days).
2). TMI. Yes, I'm a cheat. But once you learn how useful a limitless inventory is, you become attached.
3). Hexxit was the Tekkit version I was playing on when I got the world in question.

So, in this thread, I will be sharing with you my project: to turn this hill into pure Minecraft building Eye candy.
Ideas and suggestions will be accepted, considered, and maybe even used.
Furhtermore, where might I upload these pics to (Don't wanna upload them to flickr).

And remember: this thread is to drive a point home.

I am good at what I do. (Ask SIR_WHO)

EDIT:
Pics will come in as soon as someone tells where to upload them.

Feedback is appreciated.

If you want a limitless inventory, then use creative.

I like survival, though.

It was spawned in Survival anyways.

Hexxit is pretty rad. I'm glad to see someone else on Brikwars that uses it.

As for Too Many Items, if I feel like building huge castles, then I prefer its menu to the vanilla creative mode. Mainly because the menu is much larger (1/4th of the screen as opposed to a smaller window). For survival however, TMI sucks all of the challenge away. I prefer my survival experiences to be as difficult as possible.

Is this a server you're making for us to play/grief on?

I would be glad to set it up as a server, but not know purely for greifing. I'm not fluent in Java and what not, but we could finally have a Tekkit server.
