The Water God's temple was desecrated by the champion of the Fire God (Predator). The Fire God would have been able to draw power from the temple were it not for the timely intervention by the God of Winter, who took the Fire God by surprise and defeated him. The Fire God was forced to retreat, but is still loose. After the battle, the God of Winter started the task of cleansing the temple of the Fire God's influences. Then, once he was done, he set out in search of the Water God. Only with his help can the Fire God be defeated.
