That's why they should play Nightcrawler instead :csi:

I suggest bands needs at least 3 member's votes to get into the Hall Of Fame or it'll be too easy. So far all those mentioned have my vote

(save for Tool who are good but not essential, Motley Crue who aren't even as good as Ratt, Megadeth who I personally don't find too great, and Dragonforce and Manowar who I just don't know well enough to judge)

I'm having doubts with Manowar. I believe in the soul they put into their music. The songs are catchy and can easily please most metalheads. The epic anthems and "sing-a-longs" are absolutely great. But musically, they're just not amazingly masterful, except in vocals and choir harmonizing. Most riffs and solos go along fine, but, you guys see my point?

They do play Night Crawler, actually. If anything from Painkiller album, though, I think they should play One Shot at Glory. Epic song.

I don't know who told you that, but I've seen them live and it was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. Here's them performing the same song live in Liberty State Park in 2009 (most of them in their late 40's). My buddy was operating the camera because I was crunked at the time

The guy that told me that he was unimpressed by the live show said that the singer wasn't very good live and that killed a lot of the show for him. That video confirms that. The guitars and drums sound great, but the singer is terrible live.

I agree: I feel the same way about them, and you're not only mentioning that their lyrics, while succesful sing-alongs, are exceedingly dumb sometimes. However they are very well-respected amongst bands so I guess there is something about them which I just haven't found out yet. Letting a hooker on stage didn't really impress me though.
