After my last post I hit youtube and listened to some Sid to cleanse my ears.

There's a local pop-punk band in my area called No Big Deal.

They're a pretty big deal.

Also, their singer did some group vocals stuff with another local band; a metal band called Bloodworm.

Anywho, this is POP-Punk, not true punk. Honestly, I find pop-punk to be more bearable than the regular variety, though I can't say I agree with the attitudes/beliefs of any band whose genre has punk in the name.

There's only been one true Punk band in all of history. Yes, that one. They stole their first set of instruments 'cos they didn't have the money for it. That bands like green day are nowadays called punk symbolizes the entire and unconditional downfall of the genre.
