Astronaut Colonists, led by Commander Qol, left Earth to colonize the Asteroid Belt with a group of drone miners to help them find the precious minerals they would need to survive. One day, on the Asteroid Colony known as 7-9J, something went wrong with the drone's AI, and they attacked their masters' base . . .
The drone miners and their mecha.
The Astronaut Colonists and The Dune Hound.
The drones move into position.
The mecha fires off two missiles into the Astronauts' trench to test their defenses.
While one of the Astronauts jumps out of the way, another is not so lucky.
A medic runs over to the unfortunate Astronaut and tries to revive him.
He ends up removing the Astronaut's helmet; instantly killing him.
One of the Astronauts fires a rocket at a drone.
But the drone is able to the rocket in midair.
This causes the explosion to hit both the Astronaut and the drone.
Meanwhile, Commander Qol opens the hanger bay doors.
The Dune Hound flies into the battle.
With the hanger bay doors open, an Astronaut is able to snipe one of the drones.
Finally, Commander Qol and two other Astronauts head toward the battle.
An overall shot of the battle.
More to come . . .

Correct
Here's part two of the battle (I split it up so that you guys don't have to look at 40+ pictures at one time).
The drones move up.
A drone tries to zap his comrade back into action.
While the high voltage zap does cause the drone to reboot, it also has a few unwanted side-effects.
The mecha fires off four more missiles into the Astronaut base to deal with the reinforcements.
Ka-Boom!
The medic tries to revive the other Astronaut.
This time he's successful, well, 95% successful anyway.
The Astronaut who survived the missiles earlier recovers and lunges at the mecha.
"Take that, you son of a motherboard!"
Commander Qol charges toward the battlefield.
An Astronaut takes aim at a drone.
And scores a direct hit.
The Dune Hound gets into attack position.
An overall shot of the battle.
More to come . . .

Sweet hangar! I must say the drones seem a little outnumbered. That mecha better be dead hard, otherwise it's no fair...

Thanks! The base is actually my Echo Base MOC, but it works great as an asteroid colony too!
As for the drones, well they're supposed to be outnumbered. The point is that even though they are outnumbered, they have shields, heavy armor, can all work as medics, and can all use their staffs as guns. Then there's the mecha who can fire off a payload of twelve missiles whenever it wants to.
Anyway, here's the final part of the battle:
With his one arm, a drone fires an energy blast from his beam staff.
The Astronaut never knew what hit him.
Realizing that the Dune Hound would be in range in moments, the mecha fired off it's last remaining missiles.
And nails the shuttle right in the engines!
"We're going down!"
Ka-boom!
Down but not out, the legless Astronaut puts his jetpack to good use and fires off a missile.
"Massive failure detected."
"New order received. 10, 9, 8."
"Oh what's he gonna' do, count us to death?"
"7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."
An overall shot of the battle.
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the battle!

I agree, very cool.
I like small skirmishes. I don't ever use medics for some reason. I like things that are dead to stay dead.

What about cyborg heroes activating back-up power supplies and coming back alive?

Yea, that makes sense. I haven't used many robots.
