What dilanski wrote, translated into English by Doodstormer and paragraphs by that other guy now made to say he wrote:I want to run what I would call the greatest thing since the invention of forum battles. The idea is that every Brikwars forum member can choose an army to be part of, together with other forum members. You still get to make your own army, but it becomes a division of the larger army, and we would essentially have a WWBW (world wide Brikwar) every 3 months or so.

Non-biased judges will decide which army performed the best. Now it'll be nicely and effectively organized like the forum battles, every army will have a list of people who joined them and they should each have a division page on the forum or somewhere else to put their division up. Players could really go overboard with customization with logos and slogans etc.

Unfortunately the idea has one major setback: players must be part of different armies to compete and they must also be close together. That's why I'm running this poll to see if there are people in groups close together that can do this.

The games will have rules placed on them to make sure people don't cheat to get their faction higher rankings, such as "fairness" and "only forum members can take part", etc. Now this is just the 'foundation's foundation inspection' in a way and will require a lot of effort to work, but the idea of a real world wide Brikwar should make any seasoned Brikwarrior drool.

If you like the idea please comment, as I can't have two polls. If the poll works out then I will advance this to a beta equivalent, after that WWBW1 will commence.
After that, dilanski wrote:Never say impossible, ever. 5 years ago I said "No, I'll never have any Lego, so just forget about it." 3 years later, I had to draw a list and do long math I had so much Lego.

Anyway, it's not impossible at all, it just needs a lot of work. But if it's organized it will work, and as for understanding it... I'll sort that out.
(come on, you're Brikwarriors, you should be able to cope with the mind boggling complexity that makes most others soil themselves)
That'll be $5.95, plus tax.
solid gold or silver? i don't do cash card or check

this is the full idea which hopefully will make some people beleive in it more, so theres about eight different armies each with a army leader (basically the person who does everything to do with recruit's etc) if someone want's to join that army they pm that person.

every army leader will have a post to put who's joined up, recent battle's and generally anything to do with that army.

whenever you battle you have a normal battle but the victory goes to that army and every fourmonth's the army that performedthe best win's the four month segment.

so nowiv'e explained it for the third time will anyonebe willing to become a army leader?

It's pretty much the smae thing Game Workshop did a few years back. I think it was the Armagedon campaign.
basically, anyone could send in a battle report of their warhammer 40k game, and the winner would help their faction in the overall campaign, giving controle of certain map area to the winning army.
It's a nice idea, but I don't think it will really get off the ground if there isn't something to really motivate the players. Now that I think about it, didn't someone do that with "World War Peach"?

the problem is that I could battle my friend Erik and mop the floor with his butt(my Maurans alone are many times the size of his army and I don't do CP). we need to have registered armies that can fight each other and a map(your problem) so we can control areas of the map, when an army controls the whole map, they are the winner and we do it again with a new map

So, is this what you mean, if 20 people join up and split into two armies - like, for example - royal Lego army and collation of brikwarriors, 10 per team and their may be 10 'divisions' of it.
With each 'division' working as if as it's own army and if more than 5 enemy divisions are destroyed then that army wins, etc

Am I right?

I'm guessing you are new to using forums(as in not just this one) but always try to check the date when you post, otherwise everyone will call you a necro and if people will think you are a noob

There must be some game out there that we can use to simulate a Brikwars battle...

Maybe we should mod some turn-based strategy game to house Brikwars-esque units, and work with Brikwars rules.

Edit: Oh, gosh, this is a necro'd thread.

Can I get a TL;DR on this thread? Also, I just looked at option 1 and didn't even need to bother considering the others.

this is very similar to that EOS/COP stuff going on on MOCpages when i think about it, except with brikwaring instead of makeing MOCs, i can see the idea you have but it wont work, people with friends who play brikwars will want to be on the same team.

Here's a thought: Pick out some easy factions that anyone can make probably four of (Crownies, Falcons, Spacemen, Droids, Clones, Stormies, Imperials, Pirates, Mars Mission, Townspeople, Color-Schemed, Inferno, etc.), choose 8 or 9, call them the armies, and then have a bunch of people host some Forum Wars, using only the factions that you have access to, and every time a faction wins a Forum War, they get some bonus points towards the Ultimate Campaign.
After every three battles or so, we total points, and then the In Charge Person changes the World/Galactic/Universal Map to reflect this. It continues until one faction reaches a certain Win total, and Wins the Game. I'd recommend factions like Orange, Blue, Green, Brown, Black, Grays, Red, White, and then just have people put in units for their battles that fit the colors.
It would be ridiculously big, but it would also be awesome and such. In fact, I may do this after ToOC is finished, if I can get some other people to host other battles.

if i get a camara that can take more than 6 pictures before running out of battery i might make a forum battle.
i already have a plan for a set of battles where each one affects the next.
the start might be a micro-space war where each fleet has a ship with the troops and the aim is to deploy them to the battle field, then it would be brik-wars in diffrent battle fields and stuff.

i like your idea RDLC id surgest colour schemed.
