If a load of people had about a small army (20-30 mini-figs with some small vehicles) and there were a few larger units and a super weapon, and considering very few battles had full cp numbers, we would have the biggest battle on record? but how long would such a battle take? a 50 mini-fig total battle takes me over an hour?!

Would it be bigger than Natalya's or Warhead's battles? So far those are the largest, except for a large one that we found, with the several Ron Weasleys and the monkey riding the monorail.

A battle on a large battle field (like warheads) and some good armys would take some time.

Unless each team has some really heavy back-up and firepower then it will take some time.
If both teams have aircraft armed with bombs and heavy missiles then it wouldn't take too long as the ground troops would be smashed.

Any chance of a link please? I think I missed that one and it sounds very amusingly interesting.

My recommendation (after playing many huge non Brikwars campaign battles) is to set up somewhere you can leave things static without fear of it being disturbed. That way you can play a turn a night or even week or whatever and still have everything as you left it for the next session. Big can mean dull so you'll need to think of stuff to keep it interesting. Killing isn't enough. It's a lot but not everything you need to make it good. Humour helps.

On this forum I think it would have to be this 4-way battle...

Oh yea, I forgot about that one.

Sorry Warhead, I don't remember what it was called. I'll search for it later today.

CP-wise, either that one or the one Strana and... who was it again... had with the Hodgepodgians and the, err... Stranian fleet? It's not too long ago, anyway.

Then there's that massive medieval-style battle which went down in the records as one of the best battle reports (quite famous, name's slipping away again,
I've done a lot for school today and my brain's not used to it). That should've been at least the biggest medieval-style battle.

The biggest cp battles ever would have have been the fleet battles, but as for ground based battles???? i'm not to sure.... when the new ruleset comes out then hopefully nelug will return and we'll have some more big battles, do they even know about these massive fleet battles????

the fleet engagement was essentially having a brikwars battle that moved. the first picture was the largest deployment of armoured forces ever seen on this website.

My vote probably goes to one of Studs' battles. Unfortunately the links on our Archive page no longer work, but while they were up the Battle of Tank Stream was one of my favorites. To put it in perspective, at one point an armored vehicle dropped a squad of about ten heavily-armed Spacemen into the fray, without warning, and the players on both sides basically ignored it. The text implies that by the time the defenders had wiped out the attacking force, about half of their army was still just sitting there behind their fortress wall. And that's one of Studs' smaller battles.

If you want some more accessible battles, though, BLOC has a couple of gigantic ones. Check out Death to the Pepsi Brotherhood and the one immediately after it on the links page.

Yeah, our battle ended @ around 11pm. And I think it could've went on for a few more hours. If you want a bigger battle, bring sleeping bags....
