Destruction at the Church

On 10 Aug 2011 fighting started outside a church in a small settlement on an unknown world. The Time Traveling Super Jews teamed up with the USSSR, a small team of Brittanians, and some post-apoc survivors of Austrailia from the late 20th century. Against them was the Assyrian Star Empire. A force of 100 Assyrians attacked the planet chasing after 6 rogue Black Knight pilots who had sought safe harbour with the planets local inhabitants -- an uncivilized mob of post-apoc survivors and some random people.
The three forçes met and fought one another at a small town. Strange time-warping effects prevented the end of the battle from ever occurring, but for the brief moments of battle there was ossum on an unparalleled scale.
No pictures in OP today, but there will be some here in a few days.

A teaser (also the only pictures I ended up taking):
Before the battle, with Zipps' Intergalactic Time Travellers Union, Natalya's Assyrians, and my civilians, traitors, and the Dalek.
Not shown: some Commies hidden behind the church, Robo-Lenin, Natalya's awesome rockers riding the tank.

And so, on the 10th of August in the 2011th Galaktik Revolution the forces of the Assyrian Star Empire engaged in glorious battle with their enemies the Time Traveling Super Jews, the USSSR, the Brittanians, a rogue band of Black Knights, and some post-apoc survivors along with various other people. Zipps is on the right, aoffan is on the left. The object of the game was for me to get my Super Tank to the opposite corner of the battle field.
That's right. The Assyrians are using the power of Metal to give +1 skill to any troops within 5" of the guitarists. Aoffan used similar tactics.
Speaking of which, you can see their rock star on the right. I loaned him the Black Knights to even out the game.
The Super Jews and assorted friends didn't need as much back-up, but we soon discovered that they were almost as sorely out-gunned as aoffan's men. Give your units some weapons with decent range and bring heavy weapons too. Tek Level 6 space armies like the ASE have killer weapons and vehicles and armour so any brikwarriors reading this should also join the ossum and get some firepower going.
aoffan's hero mecha.
LOLOLOL
Brittanian forces. They needed better guns.
And so the battle begins. aoffan went first. This turn he mostly just moved his guys up.
I gave Zipps an Almighty Benny for his ossum tank turret design.
Zipps' first turn now. I don't think he got first blood, but these bikers made like the second, third, and fourth kills of the game.
The rest of his team moved up.
The tank moves into position...
And takes out half the health of my armoured car. It also destroyed one of its weapons.
On the other side the Brittanians managed to do a point of damage to one of the Black Knights. This ended Zipps' first turn.
My first action was to completely destroy McDonald's. The Vanquisher Super Tank pounded it with everything it had. McDonald's was in its way so it had to go.
And my guys moved up. They did a point of damage to another Black Knight.
My Commandos killed some bikers and post-apoc survivors.
And that was the end of my turn.
The mecha hero moves in to challenge Robo-Lenin to a duel.
Some of the other guys mounted up on the Zoo animals.
Unfortunately for this asshole, Zipps and I challenged aoffan to a What I Say Goes roll... We said that Ostrich Mounts were okay, but a Polar Bear would obviously eat its rider. I rolled for our side and won, so the magician got owned. aoffan decided that from now on the Polar Bear would wear the magicians' hat and that the bear itself would become a magician.
In retaliation, aoffan sent his cars on a collision course with my Dreadnought and armoured car. My car got destroyed and the Dreadnought received 2 (out of 3) points of structure damage.
Their guitar player however was thrown by the crash to a splattering death in front of my guys. And it was ossum.
Behind the church the Black Knights mowed down most of the Brittanians. This ended aoffan's second turn.
Mad Max took out his anger on one of my Commando Captains.
And I don't quite remember what happened here, but this guy got impaled on the church steeple.
Then the Sandwich Guy Mobile ran over some of my guys.
It then shot all of the survivors.
Their tank did the same...
Splat.
At this point the battle was becoming an all-out blood bath.
But it ends here, right as it was getting good, with Robo-Lenin fighting the mecha. Zipps' mom came and was like "time to go" and uhh, yeah, game over. I didn't even get a second turn.
If you are going to have a big battle (by big I mean over 200 minifigs) you ought to reserve at least 8 hours because it will take that long to do battle.

Too bad it ended early. No matter, it was still awesome.

We took way too long dicking around and setting up, that was the big problem. It was fun while it lasted, though.

I didn't understand the time constraints... That's why I was slow to set up.

We nearly had a similar issue at the Philly War. Lawmaster's father was not aware of the time-commitment for a full Brikwars game and was a little antsy (rightfully so, i suppose) around the 5-6 hour mark. Granted, we could have been more efficient with set-up and pumping out stats (DO THIS BEFORE THE GAME PEOPLE).
We got 4 turns in for a 5-way brawl, but the forces were a 4th of the size of ya'lls.
Great pics, though. Captured what there was of the battle quite nicely

No, I mean all three of us. we just kind of looked at each other's stuff and were like "oh, cool. Hey, let's go for lunch."
