Technically, Napoleon was a Corsican, which at the time belonged to Italy. The first or second rule of French warfare (I can't remember) is that they win when led by a non-Frenchman (although he still eventually lost to a British boot-maker named Lord Shadowscythe)

Edit: Found my source for all things French Military. If you discredit this I will acknowledge the French are badass.

1. Who are you? I am Jo Jo the Gerbil (that's not my real name though I wish it were) and I am an avid Lego fan. A few years back I discovered Brick Wars... just recently my friend got me back into. I can't wait to post pictures of armies and vehicles. Also I am a former Competitive Counter Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2 Player. Also I am a bronis. Also I am an avid Redditor. Also, well that's it really.
