I go Brikwars celibate for all of a few months, get back and someone has put me in charge of something (I'm guessing our resident Goderator Natalya, and only because I've never incurred the wrath of the banhammer launching space-mech she lives in). Anyway it seems odd not to lay down rules, but personally I've never enjoyed rules, so seeing this is the 'advice' sub-sub forum, look at these as more guiding principles.

6) Any question goes (more or less), reagrdless of intellectual level
7) Don't expect useful answers to any questions you post
8) Really no one does give two golden shits about your problems
9) Grammar is optional but appreciated, prose in threads is classy
10) Normal forum rules still apply, this isn't thunderdumb
11) This is the internet. All bets are off

I was trying to think of someone known for good advice, but it was self-defeating - anyone who gives good advice would advise themselves to never come here in the first place.

But I do know someone who has a good role model.

Too heavy handed in effectively telling half the forum to get lost, rather than increase the quality/humor of the conversation I killed it all together before it began, D- Grade moderation right there. So I'll let the people most likely to cause drama in, let it fester, help out with genuine questions and hopefully in 2-3 months time this place will be 60% helpful threads and 40% shitposts and trolls, the optimum stoichioforumetric ratio.
